Btw can we talk about Jungkook's pronunciation?!? He spoke zero English when BTS first blew up here, and now he's _killing it._ That boy knows how to *work.*
I agree with you, JK is capable of presenting any style and SEVEN is exactly what we expected. JK has the image of being the pop star of today with his talent and charisma, he can make noise worldwide and I know he will. It never disappoints.
I just now noticed that but I love how Han SoHee is the one who reaches out to hold Jungkook's hand first, like he's obsessed with her and tbh annoying af🤣but he waits until she goes to him, ultimately she's the one who makes the decision and also there's chaos throughout the video, the accident at the restaurant, the flooding, the thunderstorm, when he's on top of that train there's cloudy sky and Han sohee is inside the train isolating herself from the chaos Jungkook is going through, but right after they hold hands the rain stops😭 I love this video so much💜and the song of course
Now in Jungkook's Performance video he does the explict version of the song.... It gives the MV and the song another feel to it when you rewatch it... But the different lyrics confirm your sensual comments hehehehe Thank you your reaction! I love this song!
He did so well I’m still not over it😭😭 I love both versions so much. I’m so glad he did something he wanted to. I’m very proud of him and I hope he does more music like this.
Perfect vocals. Perfect cinematic. I never feel so much emotions when watching an MV and yes I also burst out laughing at funeral scene 😭 I'm not even an ARMY but I find myself streaming the MV more than 5 times a day I guess?? Seven is just THAT GOOD. And whoever casted Han So Hee deserves a raise 😂 I could never get bored watching her in the video.
I love the verse after the first chorus so much. Im literally so obsessed. "You love it when I jump right in All of me im offering Show you what devotion is Deeper than the ocean is Wind it back I'll take it slow Leave you with that afterglow Show you what devotion is Deeper than the ocean is"
Jungkook is just getting started with his solo activities but he is already breaking records and making history. There's more to what Jungkook has in store for us because of his immense talent and great vocals. Super love this solo single and everything about it! SEVEN is the best and biggest of the solos released so far for me, too.
@@StreamHypeBoyByNewJeansjimin solo was not mediocre at all, it was an art,and this guy reaction should be not the good place to say this because he admired so much jimin that said he now is his favorite artist...jk has been helped so much by scooter and hybe than ads of seven are appearing in every social media possible, is so pushed that one day we may see those even in our personal email
Love this MV! The outside pressures of the world is drowning her & making her lash out in anger etc..."weight of the world on your shoulders" and our JK is waiting patiently for her....hence his "devotion". Only at the end of the MV does she finally gives out her hand and only then does he grasp it (finally)...consent baby! 😊 The real ones will wait for you patiently... because they don't minimize your anger. Whatever you're going through in Life, you'll know who the real ones are. JK is too funny and this MV represents that well. Others might interpret it differently, but that's what I got from it, plus it gave us a whole mini movie. Entertainment baby! Then the explicit version is another different vibe altogether. 😱😂🎶💜 He said what he said. He's a full grown adult after all. Chapter 2 is absolutely amazing so far. Proud of JK!! Going from passing out flyers less than a decade ago to having people camp out for days just to see you for a few seconds! 💜
NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT THIS MV THAT WAY!! I thought it was just a cute patch up song like a thing but it is much more than that, it all makes sense now!! this interpretation is the best.
@@samiksharaj-sf3dc Thank you. Plus he wants to be with the person he loves...his character in the MV anyway. That's what he briefly explained in an interview and that it's a catchy summer song. I totally agree. 😁💜
The song shows so much variety of Jungkook's talent. His vocal prowess. The lyrics shows maturity. Their acting - yes, I wanna ship those two. And I'm happy for JK. I love the song.
An So Hee is wonderful and Latto is a scandal!!!! Incredible both, it couldn't be better. JK is a great singer and a man that I admire and love a lot! It was perfect!!!
I've been saying the same thing!! About how Jungkook's demeanor in the video adds an element of humor and lightness to the whole thing. I totally feel that his unserious expressions and behavior contrasts so much with Han So Hee's genuine acting and that brings this out even more as well. It's almost like Jungkook is meant to be poking fun at his character which is why it doesn't feel like harassment to me or anything else that would make this uncomfortable to watch. The funeral scene was my favorite part I laughed out loud when he popped out looking goofy as hell singing to her. I also love the detail that she puts out her hand first at the end and he waits a sec to be sure she means it. P.s. There's also some other subtle humor moments in the video that I feel play at the lyrics in a hilarious way too lol
I've been saying for years that Jungkook is one of the few artists anywhere with the potential to be crowned the king of pop, and I love this step towards it.

I do love this song, both versions. In my opinion the explicit version is Jungkook breaking loose from all restrictions. Letting everybody know that he's a grown a$$ man. I love this so much...🔥🔥💕❣️💕
My opinion. Grown ass men who are really cool keep that word out of their vocabulary. Too many young fans and especially their parents find it unnecessary. My opinion. You are entitled to yours. I think JK just was persuaded by Hollywood that it was needed. It wasn't. It can NEVER be played on any FCC sites. They will get fined BIG Time. Why didn't GMA let JK use the F word? They would get fined...for lots and lots of money. You CAN'T say that word on TV or radio! So why market that?
@@ideagirlwho knows it could be jungkook’s decision🤷🏽♀️..but it doesn’t matter tho, the explicit ver makes more sense since it confirms all the innuendos throughout the song🤣
Seven has been stuck in my brain, even the instrumental randomly pops up. I love it. It's an excellent fun interesting pop song. Jungkooks vocals make it unique and Latto enhances the whole cheekiness. The MV is awesome, played it many times, still not tired of it .
This video has such a comedic tone to it and I love it LMAo. Seeing your reaction to this song is something I have been waiting for as well because I love seeing your insight.

I love everything about this Soloist Jungkook era. The song is so catchy & good. The music video is a cinematic masterpiece. And the choreo is so good & suits JK a lot. And yes he literally has the biggest potential to become the next big star. Seven already broke the biggest kpop debut ever on spotify. He literally broke Bts’s Butter debut record. He even broke the record for a male act aswell. Seven is the third biggest debut in Spotify History. The top 2 spot belongs to Taylor Swift. And just behind her JK comes in third please. Jungkook is establishing himself as a major player in the music industry - not just as a k-pop act or as part of BTS, but as the artist Jung Kook. And i love this for him. He deserves it
I totally agree about Jungkook no longer being pigeonholed or boxed in by genre. 10 years into his career and he still seems really hungry, he seems to want to break into the western pop scene and become a fully fledged popstar. Like Michael Jackson / Justin Bieber / Justin Timberlake level. Limitless potential, as you say. And I think he can do it. He’ll be the first one to not speak English 100% but that’s not stopping him. I believe the general population would give him a shot if they hear him in the radio. (Rather than automatically dismiss him because of his k-pop background.) I also agree he’s the only member of BTS who might be able to do this. I can’t quite explain it but it’s similar to what you said. He’s still young and has many years in the industry ahead of him. He’s under Scooter Braun’s wing. He’s also extremely open minded and willing to push himself and put himself into those daunting situations like recording in a studio in America surrounded by only English speaking producers. He’s very brave. It’ll pay off.
My favourite scene have to be when the laundry is flooding, everyone is freaking out, she is really pissed off, but then jungkook is just rizzing her up. hilarious
The tones of the ending when they walk away is kind of dark, but there's just something beautiful or comforting in knowing someone is still by your side and also themselves even in the sometimes chaotic waves of a relationship, because we know they're not always a smooth ride. It's a threshold. 😅 I love the video and song
He is a star and the hard work he puts in just adds to it. Every knife needs to be sharpened to keep it effective. And JungKook does that every single time. He is too cool and has so much talent with so much charisma.
This song isn’t pop but if you listen to UKG from the UK, it’s very influenced by this. The fact Pinkpantheress brought more light to it for this generation, to have Jungkook do his own take on it has been a pleasure to enjoy. This song immediately made me think of Craig David 7 Days but with the answer of what it’ll be like in a relationship with him, if she sticks with him. Sensational song.
@@aggeyboii1753 exactly! Since DAY ONE Jungkook has given R&B energy never pop to me. I think about when they had their show and a woman told him he had so much soul, I just knew where his music would go when the day came. Love this for him.
I like that a k-army made an interpretation of the MV that Han Sohee lives a life of chaos thus all the insane things going on. She lives her life on the edge but Jungkook joins her by swinging on a platform. She decides to push Jungkook out of her life because she doesn't want him to suffer. Jungkook shows what devotion is, even if it means nearly getting hit with a car, ending up on a stretcher but chases after her right away, apparently ends up at his own funeral. But his devotion is so huge that he comes back to life. So in the end Jungkook chooses to go through her hardships together thus hand holding in the end and notice how the rain stops but there's still thunderstorms? Jungkook makes Sohee's life a little better despite the lighting and thunder.
"She doesn't want him to suffer" bish Sohee literally was DISAPPOINTED that JK didn't die in the funeral scene. Y'all armys are delusional with the theories as always. Embarassing 😂😂😂
@@StreamHypeBoyByNewJeans she knows Jungkook would never stop chasing her and when he came back to life she knew he was gonna keep doing that hence disappointed. you don't have to be rude, what do you think "theory" and "interpretation" even means? it's not "oh an army CONFIRMED". they just gave their take on the story.
I think a simpler interpretation is she can't take him out of her mind after the break up. She tries to go on with her live but she keeps thinking of him, and it affects her general perception of life (all the natural disasters). At some point she thinks she's over him ("you're dead to me") so it would make sense if the actress said she wanted him gone. But well, he's back 😂
this vid was so cute truly a great pop song for the summer. han sohee was perfect of course she’s an amazing actress and she executed! and you’re so spot on about how tonally the vid is quite dark but his demeanor makes it so funny and cute coz it’s as if he’s in his own world chasin after this girl who dgaf bout him 🤣 the storyline aspect made it so much more interesting and fun. he could’ve totally just danced to this on the street chasin after some girl. o can always appreciate a well produced cinematic music video. so happy he got a quality solo project.
Was so pleasantly surprised to see your reaction in my recommended feed, I always love how genuine you are with your Bangtan reactions. I started cheesing so hard when you got excited over Jungkook's vocals. And YES! That pre-chorus is actual perfection. You should definitely check out the performance video that just dropped!
Jungkook is adorably amazing in any way, and he is so gorgeously handsome, stunning, cool man, unbelievably talented, I love his voice and powerful dancing movements a lot, and video is phenomenal, he brake records by records!😍🥰💜💜💜💜💜
Yeah I love the song! It's so catchy!! And his voice of course!!! The video is so aesthetic😍 and the live performance is awesome! I am gonna stay with the clean version though😅
In the Philippines, the song and music video depicts the meaning of "panunuyo" wherein Jungkook was able to show his love and proves it despite the rain, flood, earthquake, whatever relationship hardship and the girl's attitude. That's why Filipinos are on the floor for this release 😁
One thing I've noticed and loved about Jungkook's solos is the comedic elements that he includes. This and Left & Right (with Charlie Puth), for example, both have a funny moment that lightens the music video up, and i absolutely adore it.
I found your channel through Woosung and the Rose. I really appreciate the way you dissect the videos. You caught my favorite part of the MV. At the funeral, the facial expressions of the actress are so funny. When that coffin opens, her expressions to me says, " Boy, I can't believe you got me out here!"... I also like the subtle change in her expression on the scaffolding the next day.. ( I love the actress in the series, " My Name." I also think the way JK sings throughout, no matter the circumstances, is what makes this video for me. This song reminds me of that Craig David song "7 days". I will be listening to this on repeat!
I loved the whole song and MV! 10 out of 10!!!! This is a real bop and his vocals are amazing!! I agree with you about the interpretation of the video with the clean version!!👍👍👍👍👍💜
I really like the song and music vid. It must be so liberating to break out of BTS Stepford Wives control. JK is a long way from 'smooth like butter.' Thank goodness. Explict version replaces 'loving you right' with 'fucking you right'. Explicit is definitely my preferred version. I really dig this kid. I look forward to sharing his exciting future. I hope only the best for him.
I love this for Jungkook so much! The world needed to see this man’s charm and talent in it’s full glory. The lyrics is kind of dirty at times but jungkook saying it makes it seem just sexy and sweet 🤭 oh i love everything about this 🔥

He is a star and the hard work he puts in just adds to it. Every knife needs to be sharpened to keep it effective. And JungKook does that every single time. He is too cool and has so much talent with so much charisma.
He's talented and good looking, no one can deny his star quality
This song isn’t pop but if you listen to UKG from the UK, it’s very influenced by this. The fact Pinkpantheress brought more light to it for this generation, to have Jungkook do his own take on it has been a pleasure to enjoy. This song immediately made me think of Craig David 7 Days but with the answer of what it’ll be like in a relationship with him, if she sticks with him. Sensational song.
Yeah it gave me some of that R&B vibe
@@aggeyboii1753 exactly! Since DAY ONE Jungkook has given R&B energy never pop to me. I think about when they had their show and a woman told him he had so much soul, I just knew where his music would go when the day came. Love this for him.
@@chantellysquaredwhen was that? i thought that was said to V ( genuinely asking)
@@iz13006 ah yes!! It was V!! Thanks for correcting me haha!! 🥲😅
@@iz13006 momentarily mixed up the moment and it was so long ago when I watched. nonetheless he’s always been a wonderful singer 😩🙌🏿
You must have heard the explicit version by now. He is awesome. He said another single and then a mini album.
But well, he's back 😂
@@StreamHypeBoyByNewJeansa simple and harmless theory i dont see why you were rude
this vid was so cute truly a great pop song for the summer. han sohee was perfect of course she’s an amazing actress and she executed! and you’re so spot on about how tonally the vid is quite dark but his demeanor makes it so funny and cute coz it’s as if he’s in his own world chasin after this girl who dgaf bout him 🤣 the storyline aspect made it so much more interesting and fun. he could’ve totally just danced to this on the street chasin after some girl. o can always appreciate a well produced cinematic music video. so happy he got a quality solo project.
Same here I like the funeral scene..I was laughing he's acting naturally😍 so amazing JK is.
This young man is going to be a super star in his own right. World domination for JK.
리액션 감사합니다 노래도 좋고 뮤비도 좋아요
He's really one of the biggest pop stars rn
One thing I've noticed and loved about Jungkook's solos is the comedic elements that he includes. This and Left & Right (with Charlie Puth), for example, both have a funny moment that lightens the music video up, and i absolutely adore it.
The mv itself screams jungkook to me it’s serious but not really and just fun and hilarious while also being cinematic
MAIN POP BOY HAS ARRIVED! CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE OF HIM IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY!
What a year for Male Solos. This is so far my favorite of all that came out this year. I also loved Taeyang's EP, Jimin, B.I., Suga
Sohee looks so done, that is actually comedy gold, like "dude, seriously, stop". In the funeral scene is so funny.
just realized that the vibe of the song reminds me of craig david and the likes and that could also be why I love it so much!!!! such a solid song!!!
i love PD going " these lyrics are kinda dirty" and then there's the whole explicit version out there hehe
I think the part were he flew off the pole is how he ended up at the funeral. It's such a good song. Its been stuck in my head
I hope only the best for him.
i think this is the best reaction and the best review for seven! thank you soo much!! i really enjoy your reaction!
ugh youre so right, this is the perfect pop song!
I love this for Jungkook so much! The world needed to see this man’s charm and talent in it’s full glory. The lyrics is kind of dirty at times but jungkook saying it makes it seem just sexy and sweet 🤭 oh i love everything about this 🔥
It's a damn banger!!!! and the mv is hella funny esp the funeral scene lol 😂💜
i agree! it's very easy to listen to without being boring and is actually a bop! the vocals are perfect and the music video is perfect fit for the song as well!
I always love your reaction and your point of view about the scenes in this mv is sooo good pd nim!! You are the best!👍🥰 And JK is absolutely definitely really one of the best artists and performers in this world..👍😌💜💜💜
I am OBSESSED with Seven!
Her face in the funeral was the best, I know it's gonna the song of the summer
Yeyyyy, JK Our king of vocals and power house killed it 💜
Jungkook is just freaking captivating 💜
jungkook is thee main pop boy
its giving 90s-2000s r&b vibes frfr it's giving chiara and pawel from under the tuscan sun vibes a little at the end at least
this is breaking all types of records already
I watched many reaction videos to this MV, and I can say yours is the best, most people concentrate on the implication of sex, while yours is very detailed in the analysis of the scnes. Thanks.
Ive never clicked faster in my life
If this is how Jk pursues a girl, I would’ve already given up by Monday HAHAHAHAHAH
Facts. 😂
Omg… this made me laugh so much… and so true.
😂😂😂😂
HAHAHAHAHAHA
I love how catchy but also laid back it is
Im so obsessed with this song.. Seven is incredibly amazing ❤🔥
All abt Jungkook ..the Mv, lyrics and Vocals is absolutely amazing ..and will be 1 of my fave song frm Jungkook 😍🔥
