Good question...again as I told in the video it depends how much bass u prefer...in 2.1 channel if your speaker is small and u need front bass to be handled extra by subwoofer..I mean more than the crossover cut off frequency u want bass u can use lfe plus main...in 5.1 movie audio track the .1 has already bass frequency adding extra bass sometimes sounds muddy and more than other center and surround channels so its extra sound u r adding in movies track...but 2.1 if u have small speakers and want bass sure u can use lfe plus main
