It is a mix of tomatoes and pepppers, I blend, boil and preserve it when tomatoes is in abundance in Nigeria. There are times fresh tomatoes becomes so scarce and very expensive. I make this yearly and I keep them for 6 to 10 months without refrigerating and it doesn't get spoilt ❤❤❤.
I don't parboiled mine too,because you'll need your seasoning to marinate into you rice to give you that delicious and tongue cutting jollof you want 😅
Like I mentioned, wash your rice thoroughly. I wash mine with salt and hot water. It will release alot of starch.. Wash it until your water runs clear ❤
