Hahahah I was wondering if you caught that/if you forgot to edit it out
I wish the whole world was as cool and badass as Thailand. Great products, great food, affordable prices, good looking women although now that I think about my time there, she may not have been totally a woman.. 🤔 but anyway, great review. Fairtex really has some great gear for super cheap.
Thanks man, yeah Thailand and Southeast Asia in general is amazing, that’s where all my family outside of california lives, Philippines, Malaysia, singapore, etc. I’ve been to Thailand once when I was an early teenager and remember a street vendor selling rubber dog shit, lol. I couldn’t tell if it was real and my dad would keep throwing it at me 😂
😂😂😂 that’s great. Did you buy it? Singapore has the best beer. It’s called Tiger. You should review it next. It makes a great post workout meal.
@@matthewmayfield8095 sorry to butt in your fun conversation but please try san miguel pale pilsen and san miguel super dry first from the Philippines 😂
Thanks for all your reviews, they've helped me tremendously with equipment selection.
Great to hear!
Just came across this guy super good content & has helped me up & change my boxing game for the better cheers mate!
Thank you
As an owner of multiple Fairtex gloves, there is something I have to point out. The deep finger compartment plus the stiff foam around the fingers (as Carlos mentioned) create a weird fist position where the tips of your fingers touching the bottom of the palm instead of curling inside. This allows you to land on your knuckles easily without having to close your fists which is suitable for Muay Thai's open palm guard. On the other hand, closing your fist for punching requires a lot of energy and you will never be able to make the perfect first like you would with good boxing gloves.
Thanks for sharing
Is there any difference between 10oz and 16oz fairtex gloves in terms of hand compartment (is higher size made for bigger hand or is there just more padding ?)
Man I just tried these on the bag today and was wondering why it felt like i had to make an effort to close my fist lol
@papi710 can you comment on the grip on the fingers of the bgv6? I find it hard to really curl down, do they break in over time?
@@yuree08 I’m having the same issue with the 5’s but they do feel bit better (im breaking them in)
1st, been waiting on this one
🙏🏼🥊
Good review buddy , I have plenty of gloves and fairtex are one of my top 4 gloves. 👍🏼
Thanks bro
What are your other top 3 gloves
Great review thanks 👍. Got a pair of these so good a glove for the money. Need to wear with regular or gel wraps because of that hard sheet behind hand and knuckles but with gel wraps so good. Really like the wide 4inch velcro strap and that it doesnt go all way around 360 degrees. Can be done up tight as i want at the wrist without pinching furthur down the arm like some other 360 degree 4 inch straps that pinch down the forearm when tightened at the wrist.
Glad you like them!
Carlos, which model of Fairtex gloves is your favorite/the best one ?
Damn you must have many amazing boxing gloves
Just a few
I suggest that the hitting surface is wider than, say, the twins bgvl 3? Is it more difficult to insert the punch between the two hands? This brand or twins bgvl3 is the best choice?
you are actually reading my mind now.Two days ago im doing my reserach for fairtex glove and all of a sudden u release a review. But what u rather choose,Fairtex BGV26,Fairtex BGV11 F-day or these??
My 2 cents... I have had the F-Day 14oz for about 4 years now... I use them for bag and mitt work, they are synthetic leather so no need to worry about leather cracking or being damaged from sweat, they are easy to clean and maintain as a daily training glove the F-Day have served me well. They did take about a week or two to break in but after that it’s been all good. I do have a different cowhide pair for sparring (Combat CRNR HMIT gloves 16 oz)
I got the fairtex BGL3 today and they feel Really comfortable, how do these compare to the bgl3's?
will you ever review any of the boon gloves? good video!
Hopefully soon
Hey man, when are you planning on doing the review on the Everlast leather Powerlock 2s?
Review coming this week
And just like that, I ordered my pair
Haha nice
I need to see fairtex in a big boxing promotions, fairtex is nice
👍🏼
You see them in Dutch kickboxing a lot
How do you compare the fairtex bgv5 with the twins bgvl 3? Which the best fingercompartment for large hands and best padding for sparring?
Have you ever done a review on the BGV1? I cant seems to find a video from you on that. Would love to hear what you think? Is it only for Muay Thai? or can it be use for Western boxing? Thank!
No grip bar feels a bit strange for some people
Great thorough review!
In your opinion, Is there a flagship glove that just dominates in all aspects?
Thanks man
is there big difference between these and bgv14 ? i need some better gloves for boxing and idk what to buy. thx man
Just picked up a pair in 12 oz. Solid glove.
Nice
I have The BGV-9s and the padding on those were bricks for almost 2 years. I hope these are softer than that. When you said firmer than the bgv9 it kind scares me away from this glove for sparring or recommending it.
Would you go with BV-5s over the BV-9s?
The way these fold they're probably softer. Bgv9s are tires wrapped in leather
Are there any fairtex style gloves that do have that kind of "custom" feel to it? I get irritated with the extra room/stiff padding especially near my pinky knuckles. I really like the brand and overall quality of the gloves - but that one detail is really hard to overlook. Any recommendations on either a style that doesn't have that or maybe even a different brand/glove? Thanks
try the bgv19s, they fit snugly so you might like them
I have the BGL7 laced Mexican style glove 10/10
The Lace up version of this glove ( BGL6) is better with better ventilation. The only problem is that you will need somebody to tie your glove or buy some strap but other than that, it’s better
👍🏼🥊
It would be cool if you include a scene wear you use your new boxing gloves on the heavy bag
You mean like this?
ua-cam.com/video/pkTWD_T4Vj4/v-deo.html
@@csquaredboxing yes sir!☺️
Would you recommend them for hard sparing
I used their bgl 7 mexican for heavy bag training, but really fast shattered, esp knuckle area surface start occur some stripes, looks like shattered...is it normal for leather gloves?
Hello, nice review. Just a question, is the BGV5 a Mexican Style Boxing gloves as well? It looks identical with BGV9.
Similar with firmer padding
@@csquaredboxing how come I hear the bgv9 is too firm to spar in but you say the bgv5 is even firmer? Is the bgv9 better to spar in than the bgv5?
@@JoelTGMfor real!! I want 1 glove to train in and also to spar with Im still kinda new so I do more training but still like to spar a bit
How do these compare to the bgv9s and the 6?
Bgv5, 6, or 9, which fairtex glove do you think is best for both bagwork and sparring?
I would also want to know i just wanted to ask same question but i saw you comment, lets hope he will answer 😁
I think bgv9 is not good for sparring :-)
The 5 and 6 are the best balance
I've had both the 5 and the 9 gloves. The 9 option is significantly harsher than a Cleto Reyes sparring glove… However, this characteristic makes them an excellent choice if you're looking for that extra 'pop' on the bags and pads.
The BVG5 though are a brilliant glove. They are amazing for everything and they are a brilliant sparing glove with lots of padding. They are a pleasure to punch and get punched with due to the amount of padding 🤣🫡🥊
@@JamesJohnson-pz8pu I second this. I’m using the BGV5 now and they’re excellent for bag work and sparring and overall training!
@csquaredboxing you gotta do a BGV19, BGL7 review not a single one on YT
Coming soon
What did your sparring partners say about these? Also would you say these are small medium or large in terms of profile?🙏
They said it’s more forgiving and not as hard as other gloves. Medium profile
how do you compare these with BGV9 mexican type fairtex gloves ? which one would you prefer?
Similar but not as well padded. I prefer the bgv9
@@csquaredboxing thanks indeed
These Fairtex gloves or Hayabusa s4s? Which one would you choose for sparring. Do these have the same wrist support as Hayabusa?
Hayabusa overrated I think. Never again.
Hi what’s the difference between bgv5 and bgv6? These two seems the same except for the strap
I’m trying to find out too 😭
Why don't glove manufacturers put ventilation holes in the palm/thumbs of some gloves?
So far I haven’t seen a bad Thai glove. Better than the Pakistani stuff in general.
👍🏼🥊
how is that compared to ring to cage c17 v2?
Hello my friend,Good video !. On which site can i buy these gloves ? I live in italy. Thank you
See description
what are the differences with the bgv1?
What similarities does this have to the BGV9 or BGV14? Thanks & cheers mate
Bgv9 stiff foam personally wouldnt spar hit ppl with it, bigger internal hand compartment, stiffer leather construction than the others. Bgv9 less flexible opening fingers than bgv5bgv5>bgv14, bgv5 and bgv9 i thought had deeper finger compartment to bgv14. Wrist support is probably bgv9>bgv5>bgv14. Wrist lock is probably bgv5>bgv9>bgv14. For synthetic gloves personally prefered bgv18 and 2nd bgv11. Stiffer construction less flimsy than bgv14 with more hand room
Bro, you could review a mask of the brand TC32, and put subtitles in Spanish xd
Any chance we will see the Starpro M33 16oz gloves soon?
Maybe
What gloves do you recommend for the heavy bag?
ua-cam.com/video/NTGPs1Jy8Jg/v-deo.html
For training and bag work work would you prefer these or the bgv9?
Bgv9
Do you prefer these to the BGV6 or is there not much of a difference?
Which ones did you end up going for?
@@Doingmybest700 I went with a pair of Windy gloves he also reviewed on his channel.
@@echofoxtrotwhiskey1595 ohh which ones in particular and how do you like them??
@@Doingmybest700 The Windy Proline. They’re super high quality and fit me well (6ft 220lb)
@@echofoxtrotwhiskey1595 awesome, thanks! I’ll have to check them out

Nice
These or topboxer muay thai gloves?
These
Bgv5 vs bgv9 vs bgv6, overall which one is your favourite
Bgv9
Cleto o fairtex?
Depends on model
THAILAND REPRESENTIN!!!!
Let’s go!!! 🇹🇭
Oh shoot! I forgot to ask in your opinion: ring2cage c17 or bgv5.
These or the Bvg9?
That’s a hard one, I’d say bgv9
@@csquaredboxing I made the right choice then, thank you
I love fairtex. Really really beautiful. I could buy 5 or 6 of them. But I end up owning only 1. The bgv9.
And I don't like the thumb of bgv9. It's just like 2 pads sandwiching your thumb, but leaving the tip of the thumb open free. I mean I can scratch the leather with the tip of my thumb. And it feels vulnerable at this area when punching, fearing that my thumb will poke out of it.
Does bgv5 have the same thumb padding design?
I also have windy and thaismai gloves. Theses two have padding blocking the tip of my thumb and feel really solid when punching.
per boxe meglio fairtex bgv5 o adidas speed tilt 350v
These or topboxer aliens?
