I live on the south coast of England. My 44 gallon aquarium holds 22-24 deg C Year round. I think the canister filter plus the lighting keep the tank just above room temperature. The fish are constantly breeding so that tells me they're happy enough, ive not had any fishy issues otherwise. 😊

So, I just saw a video of a dude who had a heater with a big crack in it, and when he put his hand in the water it zapped him, (presumably because he was standing on the ground and making a circuit or something) but the big fat fish he had in that aquarium was totally fine and unbothered. But here you're saying people have fried their fish. What makes the difference?

I have left two big sharks fish only and i am afraid to put heater becoz sometimes they just mad on just 3ft aquarium and all the stuff like filter and all just ruined
