I re stared swimming again this year, and all because of her! I know I won’t be as fast as her, but for me she’s the most amazing swimmer there is in the world
That's so awesome to hear! She's definitely an inspiration.
Me as well Diana and I’m 70 🏊🏽♀️
@@jimwaldron302 Funny I’m thinking of trying lap swimming myself for the same reason. I’m 85 and do water aerobics and resistance but want to ramp up a little. Don’t laugh.
@@elsanystrom350 Keep up the good work!
@@pradnyamarathe2002 Thank you I will as long as I am able.
I'm an Aussie. When I went to the 2014 Pan Pacs, I had a ticket for every session, and I was there to see the Aussies do well swimming against the Americans. When I came away from it, all I could talk about was Katie Ledecky. I've never seen anything like it, her times were just incredible. (it was a rainy few days, and the seating was outdoors, but I will never forget how amazing her swimming was.)
Officially obsessed with Katie Ledecky, become one of my fav's - she's such a killer swimmer, shows how dedication can be worth it!
I'm a soon to be. in 1 week a 77 year old male swimmer who has been swimming seriously (not quite up to Katie's workout standards) for 40 years next month. I used to be long distance runner, did 3 Ironman Tris, had to stop running Bec of osteoarthritic hips, have had 4 THReplacements, so the only sport I can do (I miss running so much!) is swimming. I swim about 6 miles per week and do 1 5 mile swim in a pool once a month and have done that since I turned 50. Watching Katie for me has been so mind blowing it hurts. I love her work ethic and her never ending quest for brilliance. That inspires every one of my long swims. Thank you Katie for being you!
Thanks for sharing, Taylor! So glad to hear that swimming can be an outlet for you at any age! Keep up the great work and happy swimming :)
Katie became a legend at age 15 when she won the 800m freestyle at the London Olympics. Everything since then has just added to the legend.
Bar none! Do I need to say more? It's been a joy just to watch her. She has my full support.
Amazing woman. Amazing swimmer. My my grandchildren follow her heart. Something deep inside her!!! Humbled.
Congratulations Katie🏊🏽♀️
This video was so cool. Can’t wait for your pre show tonight
Thanks for your support! See you then!
She is the absolute distance queen! 👑 The youngsters will certainly push her this week in Tokyo!!
She is a great inspiration to me
Legend at 24. She's quite a blessed soul
Simply amazing. A true Amazon. I adore her. Watching from London UK 🇬🇧
I’m so happy for Katie! Amazing job for training so hard. I wanted to ask the editors, what is the music you used in this video, it’s really nice, and I’d like to listen more of that? Thank you!
The best video on Ledecky, please keep doing this kind of video for other swimmers I would love to show this to my swimmers!
She's already the GOAT & she's still only 24. & now she got challenges from Ariarne Titmus..i think she's only gonna go faster. It's true Arnie beats her in 200 & 400 at Tokyo 2021..but 800 & 1500, she still ruled supreme. & Paris 2024, she's gonna challenge back Arnie at 200 & 400 coz she's the very best of the best female competitors that ever graces our sports. Respect 😊
Wow! She is amazing!
Thanks for video.
She is awesome. Thankfully her parents supported her
I am inspired! Just turned sixty and I want to compete. I cannot wait for a coach to help me figure out my strengths and areas needing improvement. Thanks Fares and MySwimPro app!
She's a ROCKET and an inspiration for any freestyler, distance or otherwise!!
She is The Legend. Younger swimmers will come... they will fall short of Katie's accomplishments and medals in swimmimg.
A younger swimmer has come - Ariarne Titmus who will come away from these games with four gold medals.
She is an inspiration. Thanks for doing this video!!
Agreed! Thanks for watching, and happy swimming!
My favorite swimmer!! Will never be as good as her, but she has inspired me during my swim journey 💪🏽.
Thank you for making such Inspirational videos❤🤝
Glad you like them! Katie is a great role model!
Keep your goals to yourself, that makes perfect sense to me, good advice!
Nice sharing
Fantastic Katie.
Super human. A true champion... Katie!
Ledecky is a legend and one of the best swimmers on the planet...I love watching her swim 😊💖
Katie, you are the best.
My daughter started swimming at 6 just like Katie. She will turn 7 in July. In 11 months She has progressed to swimming 100 m under 3 min. She is almost as fast as me in 25m in 33 secs. All this with just me teaching her swimming.
Hoping to put her in a swim club soon. She has a chance to go places.
That's awesome! Thanks for giving her a chance to pursue something she's good at. Happy swimming :)
@@FaresKsebati thanks for the amazing channel, your channel and few others helped me learn swimming the proper way and in turn teach her swimming.
@@kevins3646 That's awesome! Thanks for watching :)
What an amazing swimmer!
Incredible ❤🎉
I watched m. Phelps and now watching ladecky and Bobby fink
A once in a century athlete
I have the same hair line but cant swim half as fast. What did I do wrong?
Also she is 6'2 which is such a huge advantage against most other female swimmers since no a lot of women are her height
6 ft. tall -average for female swimmers is 5 ft. 11 so not amazingly tall
Hands down the most decorated and top American Female swimmer, however, I must throw out the name Tracey Caulkins! At her prime i believe she held world records in all strokes, freestyle as well as the I'm s all at one time!
@10:21 Katie has Princess Diana vibes...👑 😍
Hi, I just want to start swimming I’m pretty bad but I downloaded your app and I hope I can get better
Thanks for the download! Hope you love it! If you have any questions, please let us know
Thankyou for the reply I have one question about swimming when I swim I do the windmill and that finishes my energy so how do I start bending my hands
Remember to rotate, and the high elbow might come more naturaly. It's hard to help withought seeing though
Try checking out this video on catch: ua-cam.com/video/nD2dZVsrBq4/v-deo.html
Thanks both of you you pr advise really helped me up and I watched the video you recommended
Katie Ledecky and Sun Yang are the legends of swimming.
I wouldn't put them in the same sentence.
Sun Yang is a dope and is suspended
@@moonlightsonata5576 exactly, and she is not.
K.L., The Bomb !
🤩😍
Distance swimming is not monotony, it's getting within yourself and learning. It just takes a little longer.
Wow that Michael Phelps photo
katie ledecky swimming and cool I love katie ledecky🏊♀🏊♀🏊♀🏊♀🏊♀🏊♀🏊♀🏊♀
W.O.W.
is it legal tho to wear speedo goggles and arena swimcap?
not so sure
i mean the cap brand depends on what country you're from and the goggle is up to you
Did I saw a glass being balanced on her head at 9:24😵
I don't care what anyone says she is so beautiful to me!
I would love to see a match race between Katie Ledecky and Michael Phelps. Personally, i would put my money on Katie to win.
Hail the Queen! Viva Ariane!
The new queen 😉 and YEEESSS!
Yes!
AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE
Excuse me. Ariane is not a distance queen. These aussies
@@lizaappreciationpage5698 Yes. It won't be long we'll be boasting like Americans.
I study Katie stroke
katie is part human ,lioness and jinn.
very rare swimmer ...
Her 800 free is my 500 free time but my time is 7:52:35
I have only been swimming for a year and I am only 10 so pls no hate
8 minute intro, answer 8:20
Hey, uhm is there any olymic swimmer that didn’t start at an early age but more at the age of 11/12
she dope af!
gotta feel good if you're the girl with the 100 breaststroke school record lol
Should wait until after the Olympics before putting this out.
pretty crazy she is only 24
She is tall for a women at 6 feet but at least she is a true biological female competing against other females. Genetically blessed and competing in swim meets since childhood. Her work outs and dedication have made her a true champion. At least she is not a male pretending to be female to get ahead and win competitions with an unfair biological advantage.
Just a very gentle add-on - it actually should sound like “Ledetsky” due to the Czech origin of her surname.
She looks like a female version of the Backyard Scientist 😂
Amazing Poland or Hungarian,???but NOT Usa....Thanks East europ
It is pronounced “T Y R” like js pronounce the letters not “tier”
Pretty sure it’s “tier”, just like how Cody Miller pronounces
Why call it legacy when u could call it Ledecacy
Slower rate in - Free Style, les arm out. Don't see legit - but it's. Not enough propulsion. You start, the sink.
I could really do without the loud royalty free "music".
莱德基是最牛逼的
9:10 makes her sound like a psychopath.
Killer whale - thee fastest swimmer. Kil-- 1000 ills?
Bad timing - this video. Should have put it out last week before Ledecky got her arse whipped several times.
she came back and won 800m and 1500m tho
she lost the 400free
Michael Phelps also has silver medals. Doesn't change the fact that they're both amazing swimmers that have cemented their place in swimming history!
Then she used that as fuel to win the mile
She might not feel well due to the same illness she had last time that caused her gold medal, who knows... and don't forget she is also racing the 200m, 800m, 1500m as well while Titmus is not 😏
Titmus went the 2nd fastest swim in history, Katie had an amazing race but titmus was just slightly better that day.
Lost in 400 not a big deal. She will win 800 and 1500.
as a freshman swimmer, comparing myself to an olympic swimmer isn’t the smartest but, katie makes me insecure
No need to compare! Everyone improves at their own pace. What’s more impressive is your determination and work ethic!
@@FaresKsebati exactly 💯
Why she got an Adam’s apple? Ehhh, maybe it’s just an overactive thyroid?
Little known back story😉: In her previous life, Katie was much bullied in the world of dolphins for being "slow"...She was very sad, and squeaked out in dolphin to God, the Maker of the Universe, for mercy. 🐬
So God turned her into a human.🙋🏼♀️
Deep down, she is still puzzled as to all the fuss she's now getting.
