  • Back with another Kolkata street food favorite - DAHI PUCHKA ❤️
    Think of it as North Indian Dahi Puris with a Bengali twist. It tastes almost like chaat but with Bengali flavours thanks to the use of bhaja moshla (Bengali spices) in the potato filling and also on the topping.
    Thanks to the bomb combination of chatpatta crispy puchka with sweet creamy dahi topped with imli ka chutney, it tastes sooo good that it especially makes for a perfect treat during the Monsoons.
    No time to make everything from scratch? Simply buy puchka shells, make the filling and toppings at home, and have a blast with a puchka party!
    I’m crazy about Puchka, and Dahi Puchka is my top favorite. So, whenever I’m having puchkas outside, I always request my puchkawala bhaiya to prepare some dahi puchka for me. It’s just so delicious 😋

    Recipe:-
    Dahi Puchka Recipe (for 12 puchkas)
    Ingredients:
    - 12 puchka shells
    For Yogurt Mixture:
    - 1 cup yogurt
    - 2 tbsp sugar
    - Salt to taste
    For Potato Mix:
    - 2 large boiled potatoes, mashed
    - 1 tsp finely chopped green chilies (2-3 chilies)
    - 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander
    - 1/4 cup boiled red channa (kala channa)
    - 1 tsp bhaja masala
    - Salt to taste
    - 1/2 tsp black salt
    - A pinch of chili powder
    Toppings:
    - 3-4 tbsp imli ka chutney
    - 2-3 tbsp bhujia
    - A pinch of red chili powder
    - A pinch of bhaja masala
    - A little fresh coriander
    Instructions:
    1. Whisk yogurt, sugar, and salt. Set aside.
    2. Mix mashed potatoes, green chilies, coriander, red channa, bhaja masala, salt, black salt, and chili powder.
    3. Make a hole in each puchka, fill with potato mix, top with yogurt, drizzle imli ka chutney, sprinkle bhujia, red chili powder, bhaja masala, and coriander.
    4. Serve immediately.
