Had a tacoma off-road 4x4 and just bought 4prox Nissan so much better ride engine transmission way better than my Toyota. And just as capable most off road. Whoever says it's not has not driven the new 2023 Nissan pro4x..
Even the old Frontier was an amazing truck. One could argue it was just as reliable and durable as Tacomas. But the fact that they brought us this masterpiece is amazing. It's almost hard to believe it's a Nissan product. If they can make anything good, it's Frontiers, Z's, and GTR's.
@Ben Not how it works around here. After 7 months I finally got my truck. The only way for me to walk on a lot and buy something is if it's an overpriced half ton on the American lots. No thanks.
I've got a 2022 Pro4X and the first time I test drove it I thought the steering was clunky and felt like it was not power at all. I purchased it anyway because for the price you just couldn't beat what Nissan offered. Just a day or two of driving changed my mind completely about the steering and now I realize that it is a plus. It doesn't wonder around at all and you know where you're at all times.
I'm jealous Canada can get a Pro-4x with king cab while Crew Cab is the only option here in USA. I have no idea why all the specialized off road variants of vehicles in USA are crew cab instead of king/extended/super cab pisses me off as I prefer a 2 door truck. Not to mention it'd be likely cheaper to get as king cab than as a crew cab.
We have them in Canada, but I still find myself wanting the crew cab short bed. One thing that drives me nuts about the king cab is the fender flares. They need to be black on pro 4x models.
Warman096, I totally agree, why cannot we in USA NOT be stuck with four doors and shorter beds as is the clear majority of new trucks ? I was just wondering if/how a person could buy a Canadian Pro-4X King Cab and get it here, licensed, etc. I’m thinking, what if a Canadian moved to USA long term and already had a club cab Frontier and wanted it registered and licensed here, could they ? Or would they have to sell it and buy some vehicle in USA that’s already been blessed for sale here ? I wonder what the legalities and red tape are. Phooey.
This is a late add but you can’t lock the rear differential in 2wd, if you look closely you see the light flashing in the dash indicating it wasn’t locked
Heyy I got a 22 frontier S trim and i have a trip to make in Colorado through the mountains and they are getting like 15-25inches of snow today on top of whatever they already had.. Next week is my trip, but my question is how far would you push your Pro4X before it would need some chains in the back? How thick of snow for example lol.
Love this Truck BUT needs rear seat A/C vents and ventilated front seats for southern buyers , also back seat is tight, These changes would make it a great truck

I like my pro4x better than my 3rd gen Taco

I ordered this truck in baja storm, it's been 5 months with no end in sight. I'm happily waiting, I really love the style.
what a gorgeous color! i hope you enjoy every second of it!
Just bought one right off the lot 2023 with 4 miles. Just go to a dealer and cancel your order.

Love this truck. I live in rural Alberta and it meets my needs perfectly.

Here in America Nissan didn't give us the King Cab Pro X 4×4 !.
How much ?
Come on Nissan, sell this trim in USA. I’ll buy one today. 😀
Is the catyletic converter hidden by skid plate
No. You need to add a skid plate to cover it
Ok thank you
How come king cabs 4x4 pros r not coming to usa only there
Can't get the King Cab Pro-4x in the US.
