As a child used to create the cords with a sewing cotton reel with 4 small nails in the top. Used to spend hours making them lol
Same with me. The automatic thing is too easy eh! haha
My grandfather made the wooden spool knitters and others with piece of wood and nails 55+ yrs ago. We loved them as kids
This is the best video I've found for using this knitting machine.
I'm glad I found this video. I have one but didn't know how to get started.
Now I need to go buy one of those! Wonder if it would make fun shoe laces?
When I was in elementary school, I made one out of an old wooden thread spool and nails. Bavk then, we used a small crochet hook to manipulate the yarn. The results were the same, but the speed was so slow. 🙂
It seems so unbelievanle that there is a machine now. I had a wooden thread spool and four nails and a small crochet hook when I was a kid.
Me too Susan 😂
What a cool little gadget! I've never seen this automatic version before! Thanks for showing us how to use it. 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
Cool tool, I have the old fashion manual tool. Mickey, I kept waiting for you to say “Daddy’s working!”
I sometimes get a lot of 1 or 2 weight yarns in mystery boxes that I don't like using. This would be great to make them thicker and use the cords for crocheting a smaller project.
I was thinking the same!
Thanks for sharing this, Mikey! Hugs from Tennessee! ♥️♥️♥️
This is great! I've been wanting to make cord for bags that I've crocheted. I think this would be a nice *fast* way of doing it
I was thinking the same thing!
They don't work for long and just don't last long . Plastic junk really . 3 broke before I gave up and now use my circular sock machine that is much more durable. It the long run even crocheted or knit cords by hand is a much more viable.
Awsome tutorial thank you for doing this
Thank you for another video
Excellent video was great for my grand daughter to learn how to use the machine. 🦘🦘🦘
cute in Pink i have the bleu one and like it .
My cord would be a mile long because that looks like so much fun!
Very nice! Thank you!
Just got one of these. It’s not working right. It keeps messing up or dropping stitches. What am I doing wrong?
Where can I buy this marvel?
Mikey do you have a yarn winder, if so what kind and what size?
Isn’t that a cool little tool. 👍
😎 cool 😊
What am I missing? What is the purpose of this?
You can make rugs out of it
You can make icord with it which makes neat trims
@@sharleenhill5205 how?
Wondering same besides bracelets etc. I have the old manual style from 40 years ago. My granddaughter is 5 and will love this
@MyzMyzterious32 I'm not sure on that. My mom did that part when I was a kid.
Does this turn the opposite way for lefties?
I'm unsure. You'll have to try it.
I have that from Amazon
The smallest little knitting machine I've ever seen I have three different sizes but nothing that small
