The most common method is a slip knot. And the 2nd method is to lay the ribbon over the tail and roll the tail up to the base of the balloon, and then tie the ribbon in a knot. It leaves more of a decorative design. Unfortunately, it can cause the balloon to leak because the valve is too crammed up against the balloon. I wouldn't use that method. Possibly the first one.
Hi Skyler Different people have different methods so it’s just whatever suites you best! Chris Horne uses the slip knot method which you can find here: ua-cam.com/video/RLT-qwR2EfQ/v-deo.html We personally use the method Mark has shown here and never had any problems with Helium leaking.
Hi there! the nozzle used to fill the foil is here: balloonmarket.co.uk/helium/helium-accessories/boc-accessories/auto-fill-foil-outlet-for-use-with-boc-extension-hose-1?cPath=2923_6469_6473_6479& This is for a BOC cylinder :)
Would like to see how you tie tassels/tails to bubble balloons. Do you think you could cover this soon? I’m just starting off and finding it quite fiddly
Hi Greg !! I don't want to disagree with Mark, but the first way to tie the neck could let the helium inside out of the balloon. This is because you are squeezing the valve inside. The knot looks great, but I preffer to tie the ribbon low as ussual. Ask to Mark about it, I could be in a wrong way. Many thanks!!! Bye!!
Hi Leonardo! Thanks for your comment. This is the knot we use all the time and haven't had any problems but I will speak to Mark next time he's in and get back to you!!
I'm balloon decorator for 10 years and the 1st way is 100% legit and fine. It's the best way to secure balloon and to hide the neck of the balloon. 2nd way is not good.
Thanks for this video👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Is it normal air or helium? Will the foil baloon fly if we pump baloon with normal air?
This is helium. If filled with normal air the balloon will not float.

what's so bad about the neck 🙄 :/
Hi William, thanks for your comment.
We think that the balloon looks neater with the neck tucked away close to the balloon! :)
Balloon Market ok thank you. i was wondering if it made it more secure because I hate it when I loose my balloon.🎈🎈😊
