16:49 also he thing about eyes in bonnies and chicas jumpscare. While chica gives a complete "dead" stare in the direction behind you, bonnie on the other hand, keeps his eye contact with you in every frame of jumpscare. Just a cool lil detail that separates both of jumpscare making them kinda a complete opposite of each other. Dunno if its intentional on Scott's side but still cool detail.
imo what makes first fnaf game scary is because the fear of the unknown, because you dont know if you're ever feeling safe and makes you thinking what these things gonna do to you
Not only is FNAF 1 the scariest game in the series, it's also the best amd most Realistic, it feels the most unnerving, the emptiness, the Darkness {That do have light renders} making it feel like their real Images nearly, it truly feels like a place like Chuck E Cheese {We don't have a Chuck E Cheese, here in Ireland, Ireland sucks in general, I hate Ireland, I don't recommend visiting Ireland, it's horrible} Anyway... FNAF 1 has the Black eyes with white Pupils, something mainly FNAF 1 and 2 did, well at least did it in that Unnerving way, FNAF 1 had the Classics: Freddys Laugh, Golden Freddy's Jumpscare that crashs the game, the 1987 Golden Freddy easter egg, the Freddy staring at the Camera screen while on the stage {Also the screen of all the Animatronics staring at the Camera while on the stage, which was never in the game} it has the Groans when Bonnie or Chica are in the Office, it has Phone Guys sad death... The MCI case easter egg, and Night 5's call being a Reversed, Low pitch, version of _"Interview of Yogi"_ sounding all Demonic, with the Jumpscare sounds of both all the Animatronics and Golden Freddy's one, it was truly the best one, FNAF 1 also had a very Liminal Space vibe, it's the most Nostalgic, heres my list of Official FNAF games: 1: FNAF 1 2: FNAF 2 3: UCN 4: FNAF 3 5: FNAF 4 6: FNAF: Sister Location 7: FNAF: World 8: FNAF: Security Breach 9: FNAF: Pizzeria Simulatior I wasn't around for Pizzeria Simulatior, I left just as Sister Location was coming out, the FNAF Movie was great in my Opinion, and I liked some Ripoffs like: Willys Wonderland and the Banana Splits Movie, Also some FNAF Fangames I liked: 1: DSAF {Dayshift at freddy's} love Aubergine man {DSAF version of William Afton/Purple Guy, honestly Dave Miller was amazing _"Why hello there, Old Sport"_ love him} ❤ 2: FNAC {Five nights at Candy's} 3: FNIA {Five nights in Anime} Yes... Yes I admit I enjoyed the weird FNAF _P o r n_ game where all the Animatronics become Anime Girls, it doesn't make sense honestly... But hey Mairusu made it, and it's not to bad anyway sorry for my rant, FNAF 1, FNAF 2, and UCN are the best FNAF games in my opinion 14:54 Omfg yes, I wasn't sure what it was reminding me of, FNAF 1 does have a Claymation like feel, and I find Claymations *_VERY_* Unsettling, thanks to stuff like Lee Hardcastle with his _G o r y_ Claymation's, and the fact that I find Claymation unnerving in general 15:02 Indeed, I've always found all of Foxys phases creepy and surreal, Especially when he's just peaking, and the final phase where he's out and tilting his head, along with him running down the hall, with his curtain wide open 15:20 Yep I definitely have a Mild fear of Claymation to
Fnaf 4 is the scariest game in fnaf and the best it makes you feel like your never safe (if that makes sense) it feels empty and very dark and it has the scariest animatronics in the series, you feel defenseless while you are closing and opening doors while listening for breathing and you have a fear of the unknown from the animatronics during fnaf 4 nights That is my point for fnaf 4 being scariest and the best simply cus of horror the designs etc
11:48 i get you, i went through that once and i refused to let go of my mom's hand until i turned 6 then i just tried to "man up" and try to do things alone (i failed horribly, ended up with somehow blood coming out of my nose every night for a month and a manipulative "friend" who made me unable to fully trust people for 2 years... and that is why i hate school to this day [the nose bleeding started due to a bastard punching me in the face and met that "friend" at school])
Absolutely not true. The game is really scary when you play it for the first time, but on replay it's pretty boring. The formula is too simple and predictable. As long as you keep checking Foxy and closing the right door, you're guaranteed to be fine. A horror game should give you a sense of helplessness and take effort to win, so even experienced players can die at any time. FNAF 1 also has a big issue with its jumpscares. The whole point of a jumpscare is that you don't see it coming. But FNAF straight up tells you when you're going to die. When the power goes out, you just wait in the darkness until Freddy gets you. If you don't close the door on Bonnie or Chica in time, they just make it so you can't close them, forcing you to put up the camera and kill yourself or just wait for Foxy. It would be ten times scarier if Bonnie and Chica snuck into your office like Freddy does, so you never really know if you're safe. And speaking of jumpscares, Foxy's is lame and Freddy's are just goofy. Would you be scared if a serial killer came up to you and started doing the wave? No, I didn't think so. I'm not denying the original Five Nights at Freddy's is a great game, and it does have some good scares and tension even after multiple replays. But FNAF 4, Sister Location, and Pizzeria Simulator are all far superior in terms of horror. Those games are terrifying.
I agree that FNAF 1 isn’t scary when you replay it but on your first play through it is definitely the scariest out of all the games imo. The haunting atmosphere with the animatronics being shrouded in shadow as they approach your office and the horrifying sound design are far beyond any of the other games. The sound design of the other games is a lot more simple and less eerie and you can clearly see the animatronics on the cams unlike in the first game where you can often just see their soulless white eyes staring at you. You being able to hear the jumpscares coming in the first game also often just raises the suspense and dread even more on your first play through. Nothing in the other games was as stressful as the power going out in FNAF 1 and having to wait in that pitch black office to either hear Freddy’s bloodcurdling scream or survive to 6 am. Also tbh none of the FNAF games have good replay value. The only thing that’s replayable about the other games is the unpredictability of the jumpscares which isn’t true horror anyways. True horror is the fear of the unknown and what you don’t understand. And the only FNAF game that captures that feeling is FNAF 1.
FNAF 4 is said to be the scariest game in the Franchise Edit:the only thing that makes me uncomfortable in FNAF is when Bonnie,Chica and Freddy staring into the camera

nice editing and well put together. This guy deserves more likes.
Great vid! Surprisingly very well put together and lowkey one of the best analyzations of the first game 🙏

Agreed. I have always loved it's atmosphere, even when I had my first foxy phase.
16:36 what I hate the most is when you close the camera and then jump scared by chica
That happened to me when I HAD RIGHT DOOR CLOSED
Fr, I agree
One of the reasons fnaf is scary. Is I was very scared of animatronic when I was younger.
I believe every frame in the game is in fact pre-rendered, Scott just remembered to light the jumpscare screens properly in fnaf 1 and didn’t in ucn
19:03 I remenber one time i was playing fnaf 1 and bonnie move from the showstage to Cam3 and then from cam 3 to my door
Me genuinely tweaking at Freddy’s hand at 0:28
I misread the title as "Why FNAF 1 Is The Scariest Game Ever Made"
“SpongeBob rollercoaster gif” ahh title😭😭🙏🙏🙏
In ucn foxy is dying I mean look at him he's having a stroke and a panic attack at the same time
