DevilTheKid oh man..I long beated Res and RB (both plat now). It could've been that and like athlete (or some skills from your Arius Nova shield that helps). Still an awesome boost hammer vid till this day ;^)
Pickle Rick you don't need to. Just equip "Gourmet" and "Connissour" and attach the skill "Greedy" to your character. Then farm the mission "Grand Prize" the ogre tails carries Black A Tickets. I did that cause Dyaus Pita would not drop "Emperor Amethyst" so I bought it off the ticket interchange thing and farmed the mission aforementioned to get the Buster Blade and all the Arious Nova weapons. Hell, I did that with Blitz Hannibal weapons too.
Seems like I am playing hammer wrong I am just spamming the ignition hammer dps attack.I can beat kongos, Gboro gbro but I can beat a chi yu with the boost hammer.
I believe crushing damage is actually pretty weak early game but it seems to get better later? I'm not too sure tbh but that's my theory for now cause I love the hammer

I hate farming the nova but the hammer and buster blade are worth it curse katana is amazing but you need a lot of stamina
