What I dont appreciate is that all models of the 2024 have the same engine and transmission so the steep jump in price from the LS to RS makes no sense. This car should be at max 50k with all options.

Just got mine, black like in video. It is AMAZING!!!! This is my 4th Traverse and probably my last (age). It’s the best yet. Looking forward to many happy miles

@JB Reviews you need to address the greed factor these auto companies are starting to embrace with their "pay-to-play" features. I have been a loyal GM customer for over 30 years. I, for one, will be looking for an alternative to GM next time because I am not interested in a monthly bill in order to use the features of the vehicle I already paid for. It may prove impossible to purchase a new auto without, in which case, I will be actively searching the used market for a suitable older vehicle and i will happily do whatever I need to maintain it. The thought of purchasing a $60,000 auto and then having to pay a fee to use it's installed options is just one step too far in my book and I am certain there are many who agree with me. Not that the auto makers will care.....don't even get me started on the pricing steps and the complete lack of drivetrain options.

Not at all sold on the 4 cylinder but this vehicle is really sharp. I moved from an Acadia to a pickup but if I didn’t do that I could see myself in this exact color Traverse.
Great and thorough review. I really love this redesign, and I'm contemplating between this or the Honda Pilot. Definitely feel like I'm leaning more towards this after seeing the black on black. Lol
Wish they would come out with this model as Hybrid
They should have put the lt4 motor in it they would sell out fast especially if a model came with a super charger

Just pick my fully loaded RS in silver yesterday placed the order in for the RS January 13 came off the truck May13 I’m very impressed with the RS you should see how the interior looks at night

@@1fastg321 Yes! It is a thin trim line that goes completely around the dash into the doors, the counter is customizable. It's badass!

Just an fyi the tilt for the middle row is so if you have a child seat attached you dont need to remove it to get into the back row.😊
You just have to undo the seat belt every time
The new Traverse is very nice. I am very glad that the 3.6 has gone away. Its timing chain guide issues were nerve racking.

Looks good and all but I'm waiting on reliability tests, which we wont know for a while. Meanwhile, the Grand Highlander is not as astetically pleasing but undoubtedly has better reliability! With a straight V6.
The 2024 Chevrolet Traverse RS is a good looking vehicle.
Looks a lot like my Durango. Except $20K more. But, I still love it and it might have to replace her when the time comes.
This truck needs a small 6 cylinder engine.

I'm so disappointed in GM for the engine they put in the new Acadia & Traverse. My wife and I test drove one 2 days ago for her next SUV. We were so unhappy. It's very underpowered and works way to hard going up just slight hills. Should have stuck with the naturally aspirated V6. I mean, the Yukon, which is not much bigger now, has a V8! The interior is nice and we were pleased with everything except the engine. Shame!
It would looks better with smaller wheels 18 to 20
Knowing GMC makes crappy 4 bangers this a no. Should have kept an NA V6 for reliability

All the hype over the new Traverse gadgets to cover up the small 4 cylinder turbo engine. Turbo says the engine is too small, they are pressurizing the small engine to make it produce more power giving false impression you have power. We were interested in a new Traverse but never with a 4 cylinder. We have a 2017 GMC Acadia with a V-6 and have gotten 34 MPG on the highway. No way will the 4-cylinder be able to maintain its power over the life of the vehicle, as the engine wears it will be much less than a V-6 as it wears.

Every time someone has to make a comment like this. They will price it for the market. If you think a car this size and with this level of bells and whistles is going to sell for $20k less you’re being foolish. This Is the current market for a vehicle this size.

$10,000 more from the last model? and you get 2.5L 4 Turbo and all fancy features.......... I will stick to the 2022 Traverse.
It will all be changed to electric vehicles within the next 10 years. It would be a better choice to buy an electric car made of an NCM battery. I think we should refrain from buying oil cars anymore.
Very nice but absolutely overpriced. And it has a 4banger, turbo engine.. #GTFOH. I would NEVER pay that much for that 2024 Traverse RS.
