I knew my daughter was a little late and thought elvow was dipping...but i see it now...my first move is back.. hers is forward ntoo much arms..although she does i feel have a natural inside swing...its coil shift back n palm up palm smdown inside quick hands drop that varrell
I think your videos are great. One observation I have is that hitting videos in general seem to focus on pitches down in the zone. Basically they seem like swings designed to hit off a tee. I see so many players struggle with pitches up in the zone as they get older and the pitchers can locate there. They either can't get to the pitch at all or pop it up. How do you work on this in the context of the swing path?
The amount of tilt in your swing will be dictated by the height of the pitch. When we first work on the movement we work on low pitches for an exaggerated feel. Then we start to work on the high pitch. Then we mix it up.
If you coach them to get in the habit of understanding to always keep the hands above the barrel in the swing to contact, also keep the the plan of the bat in line from front elbow though the hands to the barrel to contact.
Love the changes to the swing. One question I have is how are you going to address her head tilt and and that during her load it appears she coils back so far that her right eye would lose sight of the pitcher and ball.
We exaggerate in this drill to get her the feel. When we removed the constraints and go back to normal swings it ends up being right where she wants to be

Thank you! Great translation for baseball. Appreciate featuring women in these, more women rep please! Thank you!
Where do I find your email? This is the exact (one of, possibly) issue my daughter has.
