Agreed. I've heard many say bw wore other textures because of 'self hate", "insecurity" etc..truth is our texture wasn't really out here, in a way we could easily use..like there's always been the braiding hair but nothing attached to easily install like in this video or tracks etc. These folks starting to see us embracing our own natural textures and want in on the profit, hence this, and more ways to install our textures. It took a while but finally! I don't know ONE person who wouldn't rather have their hair look more real with their own texture so the lies, "why you want white, asian, etc women hair on your head?" That was NEVER the case amongst MANY of us bw!

I've seen this in European hair. It's really not nearly as invisible on white people. There's just not enough volume to keep the beads hidden well. No high ponies either, so when you see long blonde hair in a low ponytail, that's why. It can be damaging on European hair since it is often fine and fragile and can't support the weight for an extended period of time. I think this is a much much better application really. The bouncier texture keeps the hair from just dragging straight down and heavy on those small sections. Gorgeous! No one would ever know.

When I had microlinks, to wash them put your hair in loose braids, and shampoo while the braids are in. Like jumbo I did about 6 big braids and shampoo my hair by focusing on the scalp and let it run down. For conditioner I did by sections. You want to use a wet brush to detangle while conditioning, and do each braid one by one and rinse out. Kind of like it’s your real hair. Just be a little more gentle. When wet the extensions should match your texture so you will have to blow dry section by section, and if you want to flat iron do it section by section. I recommend the blow dry brush to do it. Makes it easier. I live in FL so I only do straight microlinks in Nov/Dec/Jan. Any other month I maintain wet styles since it’s mostly summer here.

My stylist natural hair only, so she’s knowledgeable about my hair goals and how to achieve them. If these were not safe for my hair she would tell me no. And yes I loved mine and recommend them some people can’t have this for their hair because of breakage ect, or the stylist isn’t that skilled. So my best advice is truly that. To ME I would go by what a licensed professional has to say so you can maintain your healthy hair! I get mine redone with breaks in between.
