Indeed! Great in small and tight applications, perfect match between strength and speed!😋 I would rather choose this Volvo, than Cat, Hitachi and others in this size, even though I prefer to have a side mounted boom instead of this swing boom!😅
@@maineman11 I see!😋 I have never operated a Kobelco over time, so I don’t have any experience with them.. I believe Volvo excavators in the smaller range are great, but they fall drastically behind Cat with the 300 and larger in my opinion!😄 I operated Volvo’s my first 10 years, and had a 360 BLC the last two of those. Was very satisfied, but had a reality check when I got a new Cat 336 D in 2011! Have never experienced any match to Cat in the larger range of machines since, but I really enjoy Volvo’s in the smaller range still!😋👌
The Volvo is the right machine for this job, where the 390 could not do this type of work, just too big.!! Where is the control to rotate the bucket, and the claw operation, is it on one of the joy sticks as we call them in USA?
Jepp, this “88” is perfect for this job!😋👌 Each piece of equipment, each type of tasks! The controls are on the joy sticks! There are one roller on the left stick for the rotation, and two rollers on the right stick, thumb roller for the tilt and point finger in front of the stick for the claw!😋 A lot of stuff to do with both fingers, hands and legs simultaneously, but after a while it’s like writing with a pencil.😅 Several machines here in Norway, has the track controls on the joy sticks as well, and wheeled excavators have the steering on the stick as well. Newer Cats and several Volvo’s even has windshield wipers and flushing, lights, stereo volume and other stuff on various buttons on the sticks! 😄 Norwegian operators just don’t have time to let the hands of the sticks most of the time, due to insane production expectations..🤪😅
