    I think Ford knew all along we would remove those traps .. they just needed to get the 24 mustangs out the factories within the guidlines 😂 why would they waste dual throttle bodies like that

    Over 400 whp stock is honestly astonishing considering its 5 liters .the coyote is a very potent engine

    Pretty good numbers for factory spec. Emissions definitely can mess up a car. Carbon Traps remind me of the late 70’s vehicles that came with carbon canister

      They gotta be careful deleting emissions equipment, epa has been cracking down on a lot of shops.

    Take the cones out. Dedicated e85 tune and this thing is a beast.

    Can you explain the low wheel torque numbers? I have a 24' on the way. Will be following this page closely.

      Not being able to dyno the car in 1:1 causes hp and tq to read a little on the low side. Once tuning is possible, just being able to dyno in 1:1 (7th gear) will show the numbers you’re looking for.

    Can this damage or cause any problems with stuff getting into the intake ? I don’t understand what the filters are filtering.

      The charcoal in the filters catch fuel/oil fumes that’s evaporate from inside the engine after it is shut off. Then when the engine starts the next time, it pulls those fumes back in.

    We only picked up 3-5whp removing ours. Dynojet. Back to back pulls. No cooldown between runs. What was the difference in timing between the pulls?

      Maybe 20min. I let the car idle for 3-4 min and drove on dyno for a min or two as well. From what I could tell everything was same temp. The car sat longer getting it on the dyno than it did pulling filters out. Made two pulls before and after. This was graph with most power from pre removal and lowest power post removal. Had full tank of 93.

      No issues at all. Car with with Ford getting some body damage fixed that it had when we purchased. I have some suspension parts to test and will be doing an install/review video shorty.

    FORD...Lets add a dual inlet intake which will look really cool but lets fool our customers and restrict it with plastic

      They did it for EPA reasons. Removing the traps is also super easy, if Ford was serious they would have made it more of a pain to remove. Easiest and cost free way of making HP. You can’t do this in Cali tho as it’s one of the States with stricter emissions in other words illegal but in other states it’s not a problem.

      @@theg-man6003I’m sorry how is California gona know if you removed baffles in your intake. That’s not something that falls under inspection or emissions testing.

    Are there differences in dyno runs by using the different exhaust settings?

      Every setting except the quiet mode opens 100% at wide open throttle. So in quiet mode, you might lose a couple.

    Im struggling to see what that is really for..what carbon trap? Its in an air intake. Its maybe for moisture removal, or maybe to smooth the air, something like that. Dont think I've seen this on any other manufacturers cars.

      There is charcoal in the filter. It catches fuel/oil vapor that evaporates from inside the engine when the car is shut off. When it starts again, those vapors are drawn in.

      Pulls were 15min apart, both done in 5th gear. The car was up to temp from driving to the shop and putting straight on the dyno. I even ran the car some before both pulls to keep as much the same as possible.

      480hp is what the engine itself is rated at. That’s without accessories like an alternator or A/C, power loss through the transmission/drivetrain, ect.

    Damg thats gen 2, gen 3 power, This car is also 200lbs heavier. Tuning wise, they gonna have to wait some time to get access to the computer. This is kind of sad actually, reminds me of the 99 cobra.

      Companies are already in the computers. Just waiting for them to get all the tables mapped and we will be tuning them in no time. The PCM will have to be removed from the car and sent in to be unlocked just like the 2021+ F150s.

    Wait a second ,where is the before-and-after dyno comparison ? .... I'm not convinced I think that's a faulty number because you did one dyno Run.

      Someone had an impact gun hammering in the background right after I started the first run with video. The runs would look/sound basically the same so I figured it wouldn’t matter. I have 10 other videos of dyno pulls of the car I could have posted, but would rather stick to facts and what we experienced for power. We have nothing to gain by it picking up power or not, so no reason to lie.

    those traps are a joke..just what ford wanted to void everyone's warrenty...sucks for the people thinking they were getting a more powerful mustang in the 2024 model .

      Not they are just trying to meet the emissions standards set by the stinking EPA, without the carbon traps it is more powerful than the outgoing Mustangs.
