MY SPORTGLIDE- IS THIS THE END?

- So this is my last review of the humble Softail Sport Glide. It may or may not be the end of the road for this bike just yet, but I am thinking about upgrading so i'm just sussing out my options. At this stage, i'm not sure what will happen, but one thing I do know-and that i've had a ball on this Harley Davidson!!

It runs great at 75.000 kilometers too ;)
Buy some top loading panniers for the Sportglide, there's a few mobs out there that build them, cost about 1k for a good set.
Re side stand, its about the only time I've almost dropped the bike. The Side stand leaves alot to be desired.

Agree with the bags, need to be top opening.
I have the soft bags but if you fill them you then cant fit them in the clamshells🤣🤣

Yeah the soft bags are a good idea in principle but I agree with you they don't work. I also get why they don't spoil us with top opening bags..but the claim she'll just doesn't work. Nor does the annoying side stand. Other than that it's a great bike

Just my opinion but, if you're going to upgrade, I'd say you should go to the Road King.
You're probably right...but I do like the Heritage!!
I’m with you on the kick stand ,totally agree the angle of kicking it out you have to lean the bike the opposite way I absolutely hate that ! Great video mate ,cheers

Actually, the best way to use the stand is to keep the bar straight on, on a flat surface the stand will come out easily. Only then, turn the bars and let the bike r3st on the stand......
Great vlog, been interesting following your journey with the Sport Gilde. Is there a way to replace that kickstand with something similar to the older Softails? Looking forward to seeing if/what you upgrade too in the future.
I'm not sure about the replacement kick stand. I don't see why you couldn't. It's definitely annoying.

Ive toured thousand of miles on my sport glide no need for a bigger bike , for me.
Yeah it's definitely a great all rounder. If they had better saddle bags it'd be the perfect bike

Nope. Definitely have no interest in getting a smaller bike.
You should not stop, even if you do feel a lack of „quality“ content. Id love to see some nice rides performed with your bike. Bring up some ride „porn“ with soundimpressions :). Sport Glide 4 life ;)
