Christian Bale Transforms into Frankenstein Filming The Bride

Christian Bale spotted in full costume while filming his upcoming movie, "The Bride", in New York City. The talented method actor transformed into Frankenstein for his role and was joined by his co-star Jessie Buckley, who portrays Frankenstein's wife in the film. Interestingly, Bale's 10-year-old son Joseph was also seen on set, as a newspaper boy handing out papers while Frankenstein walks by. It also stars Penelope Cruz, Annette Bening, and Peter Sarsgaard, and is directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Just thinking the same. Looks like something a high school class would do.
Not sure why Bale wanted to do this role. Apart from being an iconic character, there can't be all that much substance to it. Grunting and wearing FX makeup.

​@@fleatactical7390 I wouldn't rule it out just yet. Maggie Gyllenhaal did a great job in her directorial debut so I'm curious how she does here. Also most costume productions do tend to look a bit goofy with these behind the scenes footage anyway. There's some batshit crazy about this Bale and Buckley in their outfits that I kinda like. We'll see...
