Captian Drone is amassing his own defence force
I think the Military RC Collection is by far the best every made. This one is a must have for anyone in the Hobby the detail is outstanding and watching the suspension work over pot holes is as real as it gets.

Seeing the .50 Cal M2 machine gun mounted on the open back jeep while you were driving it in the sand reminded me of the old TV series The Rat Patrol. Nice.
My Dad was a radio man in WWII on Normandy Beach then thru France, with a tank division. He drove a Jeep like this with the trailer full of all the radio gear. Looks like I need to get this !!!!!

As a former USAF Air Drop pilot, jeeps were lots of fun to throw-out the back end of the Starlifter...........

Drove over 10 thousand miles in my M151 Quarter ton back in Korea 64/65. This model jeep of course is the granddaddy. Fun to drive. Thanks for the memory, Steve!

When I was 'in' - and at a target range for various munitions both ground and air, I got to be around a lot of equipment that I got to drive, before dropping it on the range for various missions. It was so much fun really! Even though I normally was at operations control. It looks authentic as well as it could be. Great episode. You like so many RV types of things, and you have time to do so - therefore I envy you for that. But I love your videos Captain Drone.

There are only so many good drones on the planet and I have reviewed them all. I don't review the garbage drones as it is not worth my time or effort, so when I run out of new drone products, the cars, helicopters, planes, RC Hobby gear all gets reviewed.

Finally ordered mine after some price falls. However mine arrived partly broken. The steering servo horn is broken. How exactly is that steering arm supposed to be attached to the servo horn? I found a tiny loose screw. Do those two go together somehow?

For someone who has this jeep. what are the dimensions inside the engine compartment? I am planning to buy one of these jeeps and put a Cison L4-175 flathead engine inside it.

Will the trailer work with my 1/6 SCX6 if I put a trailer hitch on it? Also are you able to remove the wheels and put different ones on it?
No idea about your SCX6. The weels are a very simple design. They could come off but I'm not sure they are designed to.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I got it. It’s a lot smaller than I thought it was lol. I tried finding a 1/6 scale trailer and that was the only one and when it came and I got it on my scx6, the trailer looked tiny haha. It still works tho so I’m happy. Had to modify it a little to get it to work with the hitch I mounted to my scx6

Great video... But the slow motion video you did of it is great and all but doesn't give perspective of how it drives in real time.
Would like to see it moving in real time and hear it too rather than slow motion and music.
Nathan, did you skip through the video???? There is a section where it is driving in real time at full speed and there are BIG words on the screen pointing this out. Please watch it again.

Yes, I did see that, but you still had the music playing! No pure sound. You know yourself, you can tell the quality of a remote model by hearing it run too!
You did run it on the counter in front of you on the video for a few inches but nothing else before it might have fell.
Big difference between a $50 model motor sound and a $350 model motor sound!
Problem is that a lot of manufacturers China side are producing very cool looking large scale models for high end money but they have not so great cheap low torque motors and running gear.
This thing you're showing is $350 without the trailer... It would be nice to hear the quality too.
Just my two cents mate, you go into great detail on many features but why then skip over runtime, (another factor that can show the quality of the motor), running sounds and non slow motion footage with running sounds?
@@accessfm Honestly I've never given much thought to the motors sounds in RC Vehicles as the mesh of the gears is what I hear (having such a large amount of RC Cars they all sound similar for whatever category they are in). I really don't have cheap or inexpensive low quality RC vehicles to compare such sounds to.

If I keep getter large military vehicles, I should honestly acquire some army figurings of all sizes.

They are very inexpensive for what you get. Detailed RC vehicles in the RC world at this size are normally 2 or 3 times the price.

So the FMS link is for the trailer, canvas cover, and machine gun, and the bangood "trailer" link is for the trailer only?
Seems to be that way. I put both links because the Banggood one made no mention of the machine gun so I don't know if it is included.

@CAPTAIN DRONE what is the best budget drone (video quality), I want one to start Arial photography, what do you recommend? I am thinking of the SJRC F11 4K PRO, do you have any better drones around the same price point?
The best one is probably the BUGS 16 PRO at the moment.

@@khalideldawas7632 Just note that the Mini SE isn't out yet, so you probably will have to wait a bit. It will be worth it though.
Not enough footage on real time speed. And run it through the edge of a stream, rocks, limbs etc. nice footage otherwise.
In the sequence driving in the sand at full speed, it looks really nice. On the road it looks nice as well at full speed which max's out at 15 km/h (very fast walking speed).

This thing is so fast. Is there a remote shortcut to put it on slow mode or something? Also, my remote looks way different from toys. Much smaller and has a brown sticker on top that says rochobby

I have no idea to be honest. You sound like you need to wear your glasses under your goggles. I don't think any company would be able to make you prescription lenses if your eyesight is really bad.

For a charger.... Any RC Hobby charger that does 1s to 4s batteries (minimum) is what you want (most do 1s to 6s batteries). Any 2S lipo battery around 2500 mAh would be fine.
