My pleasure Lloyd - some of the most important parts of learning how to play an instrument is self-motivation, persistence and discipline. Learn the songs you like, as well as technique, scales, and eventually the theory. Don't let the voice in the head tell you you can't do something, because it is all about learning bit by bit, and eventually you will be amazed at what you can do - and still know there is more to learn! You will be able to learn a lot from UA-cam, but I hope one day you can be in a position to have a teacher that can push you even further... All the best!
Okay am so humbled for this piece of advice, bass teachers are freaking expensive, I think I'll first make one of them a friend so i just be tapping some skills. Bass players are few in our country I think that's what makes them highly valued. Meanwhile, your channel is going to help me out for the time being. Am sooo so thankful.

New to bass studied music theory on other channels but your the first I can across that applies that to a actual song for me to say “Oh I get it”!! This is my third full song learned on your channel!! Can you do “I shot the Sheriff?”

You are a good musician and know your instrument. However, there is no key of A sharp. You should call it a B flat. And since you're in the key of B flat, the root is a B flat, NOT an A sharp. When to call a B flat an A sharp? Not very often. If you were going chromatically from A to B, then you could call it A sharp. Also, in an F sharp major chord, the third of the chord is A sharp. So, If you were outlining the chord tones of an F sharp chord (root, third, fifth), then you would call the notes F sharp, A sharp, and C sharp. A good rule of thumb: When naming enharmonics, use the flat name unless there is a reason to use the sharp name. It is usually when your song is in a key that has sharps in the key signature (G, D, A, E, B, and F sharp). Also, you are calling your E string the "top string" when it is the "bottom string." If you are going to call yourself a teacher, you should know this. Top and bottom don't refer to the relationship between the string and the floor; they refer to pitch. Top string always means the highest sounding string; bottom string always means the lowest sounding string. This is true whether you are playing bass, guitar, ukulele, mandolin, or whatever. Also, the highest sounding string is always the "1st string." This means on a four-string bass, the low E is the 4th string.
