Looks awesome. Finally a worthy samurai game.
Shame Irem didn't port this anywhere.
The team that did Metal Slug 1 to 3 worked on this. They were part of the arcade games division.
Thank you
But our princess is in another castle!
nostalgic for the past when I was a child in 3rd grade, and I also play it until now on the mame emulator, what I really hate is time, time is very fast, and we are playing chased by time and enemies
I'm pretty sure the enemies without their shirts that shoot fire were from Karnov?
I love this game
No conocia este juego, me ha encantado y pienso darle caña ahora mismo.
Gracias maquina ^^
Smells like Ninja Spirit.
Seems a little too easy if anything. The charge shot gives you a serious advantage. Still, it's exactly the badassery I would expect from Irem. I really think that they were one of the first companies in arcade heyday that realized you could tell stories with games.
KaysAnimus too easy? I’m sure you can land the 1cc, no?
He nailed this longplay...
Seems Easy but Is not.
Its an arcade game and they made them FoR stole your quarters...
4:40 Bravoo Man the early years
Like most Irem games this is quite an hard challenge. Oddly for Irem, the sprites for the main character and most of the enemies are kinda undetailed and rough around the edges. The backgrounds look great, though, and the music is awesome. Overall this is a decent game.
How was the second loop achieved? Playing normally it seems to end after 1 loop.
in response to bensons999, ok this was released after shinobi but is actually a pseudo sequel (or even sequel) to their earlier 1988 classic Ninja Spirit. anyway, sega can't talk because without kung fu master you wouldn't have shinobi or probably any other game of similar ilk.
also to kevenzz, i take on board what you're saying and while I don't totally agree, you'd now call this Kung Fu Master 4. lol
+clyde radcliffe Really without Rolling Thunder Sega wouldn't of had Shinobi but i know what your saying.
Oooh! Never seen this one before.
It looks like a pretty blatant Shinobi/Shadow Dancer rip off, (well, they weren't the originators of the style, but they did it very well!) but a relly fun one!
Thanks, dude!
it's basically Kung Fu Master 3...... if you count Vigilante as KFM2 :)
Strider + Kung Fu master +Mega Man= Ken-Go
