If it’s got the zama c3m carb on it the walbro hd12 off a 372 oe is a upgrade if u can source one easily. Little bit larger venturi. Those 365 are great firewood saws, comparable to the dolkita 6400.
How did the dolmar 7900 ever turn out? I have a new one I just finished up some milling on red oak and was fixing to send it down to Tennessee 2 get it warmed up. Sent 2 down there and 1 out to Walkers, tryen to spread the love 2 get different impressions. Dont even know if u take "outside work" or not? I've found dolmars are a little more difficult to find a guy to tune than the husqvarna's. I dont think I missed any videos, but its possible?
Is that good or bad lol? I've got new 7900 and it's a HELL of a lot stronger than my new 372xp I just sold, handles real nice too, feels about the same weight too
@@Houseworksaws I haven't yet! I ran 1 tank thru it and then cut muffler in half, cut that "thingy" out, added 2nd port n opened origina up. Tigged back together, n slotted H screw n retuned. Definitely noticed the muffler mod by itself. Have 346, 550mk2, 562 all ported by various big name guys, all 3 SCREAM, but the little 346 was the biggest jump in performance by far. I couldnt figger out what all the fuss was about them, untill I sent it out to Donnie Walker. Must be a lot left on the table with those lil guys. My favorite saw hands down. Was followed by my 550, but darn, I fell in love w my new Dolkita!! That saw is just stupid nice!! Torque, lightweight, the value there is a no brainer!! Almost done w her for the next couple months, n shes most likely headed down to Tennessee for some "upgrades"
@@BruceMyersLBZ Right on sounds like you have a solid game plan for it. The 346 is my favorite saw to build. The gains are incredible and afterwards nearly untouchable in the 50cc class. They just flat out rip. I’ve always been a Die Hard Husqvarna/Jonsered guy but I own a little of every brand then recently I bought a Makita 6421 and ported a 7910 top end for it and I was blow away at the transformation. I’m in love with the saw now and wish I had built one a few years ago. The engineering and build quality is some of the best imo. Well good luck with yours I hope someone can make it a beast.
48mm builds are one of my favorites, alot of people toss them for the 50mm but they can be made to run really well.
That one seems off.
Even being slow that saw seems to have some decent grunt. Can't wait to see what it does ported 😎👍👍
Nice! I bought a basket case 365 with bad bearings. I have been trying to decide on going back 48mm or 50mm.
