Aqua Decor: Here is your custom one of a kind tank cover, meticulously crafted to precise perfection over the course of hours and hours and hours. Here are the instructions on how to fully bring our creation which we put our blood sweat and tears into, into it's full glory. Joey: Zip ties
Honestly can't understand why you'd let someone go through all the effort to make that for you and just spray paint everywhere and smash zip ties through it.. it looks so amazing and you just couldn't be bothered to do it properly, makes no sense.
Ah dude , your work is getting proper shoddy lately! Take some pride in your work and show aqua decor some respect for producing that for you and do a decent job installing it. Not hating on you bro, just my observations as of late
if I were aquadecor backgrounds I'd be so ashamed to do this only for you to half ass it and not read the detailed instructions someone took the time to write up for you personally. However this is the least realistic rock I've seen from them.
I really hope he takes the time to install it correctly. All the time and hard work that went into making it only to have it installed with zip ties. Smh
They created you a one of a kind install specific to the tank along with specific instructions on installation and you go and cable tie it, id be fuming if it was me 🙄
hey joey! im a horticulturist and i wanted to recommend a REALLY great potting soil that will make your pothos grow ridiculously fast! its called ocean forrest by foxfarm! im not sure if they sell it in canada, but i know you can order it from their website! its great for impatient and unexperienced growers! you wont even have to fertilize!! i use it with the vast majority of my plants!!!
Hey Joey, amateur gardener here. I'd recommend trimming the pothos close to the basket as time progresses and planting the trimmings back in the pot. This will give you a bushier plant over time which will help hide the basket.
Same dude, they put in so many hours into creating this.. even replicating his entire tank.. should've read the instructions.. kind of feels disrespectfull (and this is coming from a fan)
Atleast it looks okayish. Just can't understand how he takes all this work on him to setup an amazing tank and not invest the last 2% of actually installing it properly.
For the plant on top of the tree, take it out of the pot and use a coconut husk basket/liner to contain the dirt. It’s natural and can be shaped to fit into the opening you have.
Pathos THRIVE on neglect. As long as some water is splashing into those baskets they’ll do just fine. You can also grow them in water though i don’t know how they’d do in your tank being it’s so large. But take cuttings and root them in water and give them away as gifts. It’ll be so easy with all your tanks, I’m jealous at the quality of water they’ll get!
i really hope in the future it evolves into a tank like was discussed before with a giant school of fish hundreds or thousands of small fish would be amazing to watch and truly make that aquarium shine imo
Joey, why don't you use Catappa leaves in your tanks? I think making the water a bit darker (just like irl) is much more beautiful. Plus the benefits it gives to your fish if added in water.
The tree in the middle where the pothos is sitting is perfect to put some bugs on for the archer fish. The bugs can’t leave it! Set up the camera and walk away then check the reel later for action! Exciting stuff!!!
You don't need to keep them in the baskets, take them out and clean them off, then like lay them where you want. As long as some of the roots are in contact with the water. Great video 💕
Honestly I'd just get rid of the pots for pothos entirely. Let the roots sit in the stump and they'll grow through it and keep the water in that cleaner.
Hey Joey, not sure if you are aware but the roots of the pothos plants can be emmersed in the water. It will take them a week or so to adapt, you’ll notice that tjey have transitioned to water form when the roots become finer. It’s a great way to naturally get rid of nitrates!
I thought you were gonna do more common community fish like platy, guppies, molies, tetras, etc. that would of been so amazing..community fish for that large aquarium that stay small.
The long wait you endured has been worth it. I think the original decor of the brick pattern will still work somewhere. Aztec walls ? It put me onto using familiar geometric shapes/patterns as a background.( I used fancy ceramic tiles- polka-dot and striped) Rock on Joey!
an advice : you can tie the plants ti ropes giing upwards the tree trunk and they will automatically stick to the trunk and it will also look good (do it for each and every one plant in the pot)it will take only 2-3 weeks
You know what would look even cooler, if the stump look like it was coming out from the ceiling. They would have to give you another piece to do it. Just a thought
I have an archer and I'm totally in love with him. As soon as I enter the room he starts shooting, because he wants to get fed. Anyways, I hope you have just as much fun with your school as I do!
Dang I thought that basket would have fit right into that stump... like you said though a few smaller pots and that thing is golden. When the archer fish get big enough you can put some insects on it as its surrounded by water and they cant go anywhere and watch the archer fish shoot down dinner.
Aquadecor sure did a bang up job on that set up. Looks great! The pothos is easier to keep alive than it is to kill. They'll be spreading green around in no time.
Get the pothos up and over the front and side walls. Will cover any bits you do don’t like. They do a few variations on eBay for some different look and feels.
I wasn't very convinced about the aquadecor exterior because I liked the simple and minimal all-black look of the cement. However, I must admit that now that I see it finished it looks much better than I imagined it'd look. Btw 7:27 wife/assistant cameo?
Looks great ... no one is going to revoke your man card if you read the instructions ... it's okay ... we all have to read them some time or another. I'm very curious now if this had some predrilled holes on the back side like the stump did.
Joey..what about these single branches that used to be in the tank? You could put few of them right behind the tank and grow some vine plants around them.. just saying 😁
That is absolutely beautiful, Joey!!! Really love what you’ve done with the two thousand gallon! The gallery is just sensational! Well done, Joey!😃😃👍🏻👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜💜💜
PHENOMENAL!! The tank looks awesome. Can’t wait for the fish to be in it. I wonder what other fish you plan to put in it. Hope you put some unusual plecos in it. Great job Joey
For the plants get a plastic gutter spray the out side with rock spray paint. Push some water through it (off the water fall through a tube or another small pump). Just gravel in the gutter no dirt. helps nitrates/nitrites they will grow like crazy and maintness free. Just a idea

The guys who built this probably wanted to punch Joey when he was talking about installing visible zip ties into their artwork
Looks sooooooo good. Looks like what a public aquarium would have
Hell yeah if not better than what a public aquarium would have
@@spritecranberry8585 nah it ain't better imo. Public aquariums use real plants usually in rainforest exhibits
Its_Me_Romano _ not always
Take the plants out the pots, rinse the soil off and put the roots in the crevices of the waterfall, they dont need dirt to grow
He gets a beautiful free tank wrap, and he cant even be polite enough to read the install instruction. My God that makes my brain hurt.
@@LordRae true!
Won’t be long and he’ll be tired of it.

Also Joey: "I dunno what this is for.🤔"
*Throws shoe at you* go read the thing!!!!!!
Hey Joey, amateur gardener here.

A ton of big plants and the tank will look 10x better. Jungle val for example
Zip ties............. they put so much work in to that, to be zip tied.... smh

Joey: I'll give you guys a guess
Also Joey: haha jk I'll just tell you
Hows ripashi doin? I know i spelled the name wrong! Love your videos too btw
Don’t zip tie it! You put all that time into it foam it together with some epoxy to seal it
Lol I bet someone at aquadecor is scratching they eyeballs oot. Still. Looks sick
Setting up a brackish water tank some day would actually be so educative and interesting!
Put those phothos around the trunk it will make it look so natural
For the plant on top of the tree, take it out of the pot and use a coconut husk basket/liner to contain the dirt. It’s natural and can be shaped to fit into the opening you have.
When it comes to plant husbandry, sometimes less is more. The pothos are going to do very well in their new locations
Who all noticed someone standing in left at 7:27 ?

A giant puffer among those archers like a MBU or maybe try Tyrese in there but I think that would look amazing
YES
@@1014p yeah but its cool nonetheless lmao but yeah maybe a pea puffer then lol
Everyone at aqua decor like
READ THE INSTRUCTIONS
I said it a 8:32 lol
Looks fantastic Joey! Great job Aqua Decor!
When will you be planting the tank? And what other tank mates will be added?
Put the Pothos in clay pots so it looks like the kind of pots found at old Mayan ruins or something. Those baskets look awful in that gorgeous setup.
i really hope in the future it evolves into a tank like was discussed before with a giant school of fish hundreds or thousands of small fish would be amazing to watch and truly make that aquarium shine imo
Decent job for something that will get ripped out again in 3months
Seems about right:
Joey, why don't you use Catappa leaves in your tanks? I think making the water a bit darker (just like irl) is much more beautiful. Plus the benefits it gives to your fish if added in water.
Aqua Decor did a PHENOMENAL job! It looks incredible! 👍🏼
7:28 who was that in the corner 😅
I thought I'm the only one who saw that. Weird.
Even without the fish, the tank looks absolutely gorgeous...well done!
As soon as I saw that tree stump in the tank i knew you had to have archer fish in there. So glad that you could get some and we can watch them grow
All that work by aqua decor and you cable tie it together 😟
Pothos grow SO fast, give the "ugly" pothos a few weeks and it will be amazing and almost out of control!!
Looks great! But get rid of the pots for the pothos altogether, don't just get smaller ones.
1 month later:
Joey "ok today we're going to change the 2000g aqurium!"
Speak for yourself, this guy reads and follows instructions
Me to. Absolutely a must in my area of work, miss a small little note on a drawing and all manufactured parts could be scrap.
The tree in the middle where the pothos is sitting is perfect to put some bugs on for the archer fish. The bugs can’t leave it! Set up the camera and walk away then check the reel later for action! Exciting stuff!!!
The Aquadecor background and wrap look amazing on the tank! Can't wait to see the fish in and growing. 😁❤

Yes, Pothos will also grow In Water soaked balls of moss.
@@kathleensauerbreiartsite9065 as long as the leaves aren't under the water ^
Annabelle Robertson agree
😑😑😑Gets the coolest looking aquarium and zip ties it together when it perfectly fits. 😑😑😑
Honestly I'd just get rid of the pots for pothos entirely. Let the roots sit in the stump and they'll grow through it and keep the water in that cleaner.
Looks like the restaurant "Rainforest Cafe"
Love the tank but fish stockings awful would have rather seen you do a community tank with different smaller fish,
Prefer the black outside but that's just my choice prefer the cleaner look
I said the same thing when he started to styrofoam “bricks” on the outside.
I think you should put a better(stronger) pump or one extra only for the waterfall to make it better
Hey Joey, not sure if you are aware but the roots of the pothos plants can be emmersed in the water. It will take them a week or so to adapt, you’ll notice that tjey have transitioned to water form when the roots become finer. It’s a great way to naturally get rid of nitrates!
His plan is to let the vines go down into the water because pothos will shoot out roots from their vines
Went from Gallery, to Exhibit. Absolutely stunning my friend. And that pothos on that tree trunk, it just feels right man. That's gonna look sweet.
I thought you were gonna do more common community fish like platy, guppies, molies, tetras, etc. that would of been so amazing..community fish for that large aquarium that stay small.

he has those pieces, he did not like them..
Absolutely outstanding craftsmanship!! I really like the look. Can't wait to see it all set and complete. ☺️
I just got one question Joey, how much is your water bill ???
I have an archer and I'm totally in love with him. As soon as I enter the room he starts shooting, because he wants to get fed. Anyways, I hope you have just as much fun with your school as I do!
That's awesome, looks good, wait til it grows some downwards...
Can you do an overview of all your tanks and fish? Keep up the great work.

I've been asking you for brackish tank since 2016....is it possible after all these years you will do it?
Absolutely love the look. Very natural look and fits like a glove. This will be the best tank in the gallery

Outstanding! 12:08 - The water is too high for Archerfish. Mine can really jump.
Great tank, I just really dislike the plastic plants.. Hope you get rid of those and replace them with real ones.
Joey..what about these single branches that used to be in the tank? You could put few of them right behind the tank and grow some vine plants around them.. just saying 😁
in my opinion this reservoir is made for wild discus fish, it would look beautiful there
That is absolutely beautiful, Joey!!! Really love what you’ve done with the two thousand gallon! The gallery is just sensational! Well done, Joey!😃😃👍🏻👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜💜💜
What an incredible tank! So cool.
Did you read the instructions on your very expensive background
That aquarium looks epic aqua decor have done an amazing job making that cover/ rock work for it 👍🏻👍🏻
I think the plant on the big rock looks amazing !!!
I hope You keep it there then it starts working it’s way down to the tank
Sorry but I always hated the old bricks. This looks so much better! Great job
The aquarium is looking really good! (apart from those dreadful pothos baskets! ..please take them off or properly hide them) 👍
Are you gonna do a ledge around the pond? You should 😊

As the pothos expands lift it up and suspend it using the hooks and direct it out so you get that spread tree effect
You could get some old english ivy to put around, it grows crazy fast and is beautiful.
Piranha would look brilliant in that tank
I siad the same thing

Looks like something straight out of the zoo mate! Amazing 😙👌🏽

Hey Joey do you know if solid gold is dead
have you heard that she was?
Keep those pothos consistently watered moist soil all the time and they will explode after the first year at least in my experience
hang a branch over the tank just above the water so you can put crickets on it for feeding them its is pretty cool watching them shoot water at them
Mega Fired Up!!! Just when I thought 2k is an impressive setup, you go and made 💯 times better. Really enjoyed the life of this aquarium.
Without a troupe of archers, no king's army is complete.
Put like 6 fancy guppies in there and see what happens
Million babies
yeah and if they get a lot of babies they can just coexist with the archers, a few babies would be sacrificied tho lmao
The Gallery looks amazing at this point, great job!
Hell yeah joey. As soon as I think the gallery is done, you make it even better. So dope!
Exactly plants don’t grow that fast. Give it time
