pretty simple, mortar over styrofoam, the finished work is really awsome
Thank you! :D
Wow what an insanely cool background
Definitely gonna try this!
Absolutely beautiful!❤
Thank you! :D
Awesome piece. You make it look so easy 🎉
Cool stuff! Does the paint or grout need any kind of coating over it once it is dry?
Your masterpieces are insanely good!
I think I speak for everyone when I say we need a step by step and explanation for your work because it's pretty damn awesome. Please consider. Thank you.
Check my lates video that a step by step. And if you don't get good answers. Please tell me what I should talk about more.
You are the best I have seen so far
fantastic work! I really love it. I do have a question about your paint. Isn't that going to flake off and be eaten by fish? When you scrap at it to clean algea, wouldn't it fall off as well?
I have aquariums in my shop wich more then 10 years old and no paint issues. But if u feel unsafe u can also seal it.
Brilliant!
Do you seal it with anything after?
I used your technique today, amazing. But how do you know where to put the cracks that it looks natural? And what do you use to make texture in the stoned, is it a hard brush? Thanks in advance 🙏
I dont know. :D I just did. U shoud watch natural rock formations! Its might help to feel it. I use brush for the textures, yes. Different hard brushes make different textures. Also it depends on the drying of the material. Need to practice a lot. :(
This looks great. Awesome work! What is that you are putting onto the polystyrene? Looks like modelling clay.
Says in the description "tile adhesive grout" (:
le a kalappal!fasza lett
Köszi! :D
nice inspirational video, i will try your way and come back
Мазёво...
Clay, genius.
what do you think of SerpaDesign new video "Creating Paradise for the World’s Most Hated Toad (Cane Toad Vivarium)" and the technique he and Materials he used for the background? since i seen that video i been looking at Aquarium Backgrounds here on youtube your the goat hands down did you go to art school to become that good?
He did the same just i did with less practice, using the material which used by most zoo project and which is complicated to buy in my country. :D Well i dont think im good but yeah i finished some art school. But direcly i never learnd sculpting. That was self-taught. :D
will it be safe for the fishes?
How does the grout hold up over time and problems with it cracking and breaking off
U need a hammer to break it.
Great job! Would be amazing if you could list the type of polystyrene, tile adhesive grout and acrylic paint you used. They would have to be non toxic and inert to pH, right?. Thanks.
Hey thank you. i dont know what brand of polystyrene it is... :D Baumit Basic, Südor acrylic paints.
@@zoltanbackground Thanks
Amazing! Can you share a link for the type of paint you used please?
Also the type of grout please :)

Wow, ít so nice. what is this material? Can It use in aquarium?
Thank you! tile adhesive(baumit basic). yes just like i did! :D
Is the tile adhesive grout stronger than your other grout mix you use with foam balls in it
I use the foam balls for decrease the weight not for solid the mixture.
Is that cement?😊
Its tile adhesive! Cement + sand! :D
Is acrylic paint suitable for an aquarium or will it be harmful to the fish? Thank you
Südor acrilycs are suitable for other brands i have no idea.
Is that tile adhesive ?
Yes.
What are you using for the styrofoam to stick to the glass ?
Is this tile grout brittle when it dries or does it withstand a vibration shock ? basically is it semi rigid ?
What kind of vibration? Its cement + sand so u have to vibrate it massively for take a damage!
@@zoltanbackground like making a statue out of it and mailing it as a business product... will it hold together or will it crumble and crack up .
@@AQUARIUMFREAK123 Its uppon the shipping! If they drop a container on it... well it will not survive! :D Normally u need a hammer to break it so ye it will hold.

Hey! U can type to me on facebook. Its in the description! :D
Ismét nagyon korrekt alkotás! Grat!
