While I was going over the footage, I noticed a few records that I hadn't seen when I was there. I had to leave about a third of what I selected behind due to poor condition issues. Thanks for checking in!
I don't film myself flipping too often. I had to put back about half of the jazz albums. They just weren't in the condition that I was looking for. I noticed a couple of nice titles that I missed. I may go back this weekend. Thanks, Dave
OMG OJC ! That Wes title is cool, and without all of those strings. I like his take on "Body And Soul". "Love Is Here To Stay" is a nice one off of Kessel Plays Standards. Haha 😅I picked up my Isaac At The Sahara Tahoe for 2.00, same condish, nice score, Mark. Wow ! Kenny Burrell and Sylvia Syms.. It keeps getting better ! Willis Jackson was married to Ruth Brown in the 50's.. I like his style. I listened to Ketty Lester "When A Woman Loves A Man" Holy Smokes !! This was an amazing score. Mark.. great music all around !
The Wes album is terrific. I thought of you when I came across "Tahoe". I had to leave a few behind. I ran out of $$. The Ketty Lester album is solid. Have a nice weekend!!
I'm an early riser myself, Mark, and watching your video as a start to the holiday weekend. Amazing stuff, and those jazz titles look great, especially that Wes Montgomery. I've been looking for that Isaac Hayes live set for some time. Billy Ward-nice. Enjoy the weekend as well! 😎🎶
Thanks, Ed. I'll get my entire collection entered into Discogs eventually. I keep buying duplicate copies of albums, like with the Isaac Hayes title . You're on my VCLT list. Don't buy that album.
I can see myself spending a lot of money just in those bins. Some great titles that I need for my collection. Nice find with the Isaac Hayes live album, that's a great album. So is that Cannonball Adderly "Fiddler on the Roof". So many jazz, soul and rock titles that I need there and they look like that are in decent shape too. You got quite the amazing haul there too, beautiful condition. Those titles are usually trashed when I've seen them in the wild. Between the great titles, the price and the condition of those records, it was definitely worth getting up early for. Love that Bangles album, that's another I never seem to find in great condition like that. I'm always on the lookout for anything Adrian Belew. Awesome find with Trio, that's another one that always elludes me. Wow, a clean copy of "Smokin' O.P.'s", that never happens. I saw a copy at the record store the other day in much worse shape than that on you found and they wanted $20 for it.
Thanks, Mike. That Seger album is pretty expensive. Fiddler on the Roof was in poor condition; didn’t grab it . Most of the records were in excellent shape. I was planning to go back tomorrow, but the weather isn't going to be good. Have a great weekend.
Incredible haul Mark, definitely worth getting up in the dark for. You left many behind, but with all that wealth, you have to make choices. I’m still looking for a nice clean copy of Ry Cooder’s first. Cheers.
Da Da Da. 2 for $5, this is insane, so man awesome titles. Segers Smokin album was a smoking album lol, I would say so. I am blown away watching you found, talk about a honey hole Talk about great conditions
Nice, you fished out that Belew record!! Amazing records for $2.50 each!!! Oh nooo you flip right over that 24/7 Spyz first album 😭. Madonna’s first release is my favorite as well. Proper lighting is critical when determining surface condition. Great Wes OJC and Kessel record! Could be the new generic paper inner sleeve is acid free and the old one is not. Beautiful Isaac Hayes album! Killer Willis Jackson too! Love that Mariano on Muse! The Klemmer mofi is great when in NM condition. No way, I just opened a sealed first press copy of Seger’s Smokin’ O.P.’S in my latest video! Unfortunately mine is slightly warped and hazed but it plays beautifully thank goodness. We’re in sync, Mark 😂! $1.00 Japanese pressings?! That’s it! I’m relocating to Rochester! 😂 Great day, Mark! Congratulations!
I took a closer look at the records after filming and saw that album. Unfortunately, many of the titles weren't in the condition I was hoping for. There was a Lou Reed album that was rough. I thought about going back tomorrow, but it's going to rain. The guy said he has more. The Klemmer jacket is in rough shape, but the vinyl is clean. I'm not a fan of the music. All of theJazz titles I picked up played beautifully. I hope you’re having a great weekend. I’m sure it’s sunny on your side of the street.😎
They were a lot of great records in those bins, I have never heard of that artist on the Mofi pressing. You made some excellent choices! I hate getting up when it is still dark 😔
You're not missing out by not owning the Mofi pressing. I could've bought a bunch more, but I exercised self-control. Now I'm regretting it. Thanks, Brian.
That pieces of eighty-eight was a Nice one @4:27 ❤
That's a fantastic album. The vinyl was in rough shape. I actually took some time after I filmed the video to inspect the albums. 👍
I would have bought nearly that entire 2/$5 bin there up front. 'Way Up There' by Shorty Rogers - I've literally never seen it in person.
There were many great titles. Unfortunately, the condition of the vinyl was not great.
Wow. I would have bought more of those Jazz. Great picks
Many of them had some condition issues, which is exactly what I'm looking to add to my collection. Thanks Greg
Should have grabbed the Bill Evans disc at @ 2:28.
I wish I'd picked up a few more titles.
That place has heat!!! 🔥🔥🔥 I have that Isaac Hayes album. Found it at a yard sale over 40 years ago for .50.
Those were the days!! Such a great album, along with the packaging. 👍
WOW!!!! what a haul and you left plenty behind.
While I was going over the footage, I noticed a few records that I hadn't seen when I was there. I had to leave about a third of what I selected behind due to poor condition issues. Thanks for checking in!
should have bought the entire collection . solid stuff you could resell.
I did think about it, but I'm trying to move away from the resale business and focus on my own collection. It's very tempting though.
Some great jazz finds there. Congrats and enjoy !
Thank you. The Pat Martino album really stands out. Cheers!
Just leaving behind absolute heat...
Mistakes were made.
Mark.. I never get up this early ! 😂 Watching now
I got the ball rolling early on, no doubt about it.
Early bird gets the good records !
there was a lot of jazz album,i would have wanted on your flip through!!

You too, Mark. Enjoy your days off.
The best record was the Warren Zevon “ picked up for a friend “ LP , a classic
That certainly is a classic! 👍

@mad4vinyl802 Ah, thank you, Mark. I appreciate you looking out for me! 😎🎶
nice jazz titles you picked up mark!! I like mel torme too!!
I’m spinning the California Suite as I type; it’s fantastic.

Thanks, Jack. I had to make some tough choices. There's only so much one can spend on records. 🙂
some cool stuff ya got there mark…. except for that sammy hagar hahahah.
I don’t understand everybody’s hatred for Sammy🤔. Thanks, Steve. Have a good weekend.
@@mad4vinyl802 he ruined my favorite band of all-time!! hahah. it’s all in good fun.
Da Da Da. 2 for $5, this is insane, so man awesome titles. Segers Smokin album was a smoking album lol, I would say so. I am blown away watching you found, talk about a honey hole Talk about great conditions
A little wordplay there. I had a good day. Bad news for my wallet. The gentleman gave me his card. He has another locker full.
I found that Adrian Belew record in the early 90s for 5 cents. I really enjoyed it, plus the work Adrian Belew did with NIN. hope your well
Thanks, Shaun. Five cents; I got ripped off.😡

Where was this pick damn!
Upstate New York. Thanks
I find it very frustrating when people look through records pass on the good stuff and show interest and stuff you know is terrible.
We all have different tastes in music. What one person hates, another person loves.
