I’ve said it before but it’s like what Sony does with PlayStation. Release a well designed rugged hardware unit once every 10 years and then just keep updating the software. Great business model. I think the Helix as a hardware unit still stands up to the rest. - DSP not yet limiting, great UI and expression pedal and lots of switches, what more do we need 😂
Fractal FM 9 Turbo is on sale atm. Better amps and effects and signal chain. Nice to see L6 trying to keep up tho.
Did the update process a second time. All went ok. Just a fluke I guess.
Now we just need a blues breaker and ducking on every reverb 😂 also having the boost on the l6 amps makes me want that option on everything
This is cool and all but really been hoping on some quality of life improvements like adding a delay compensation parameter to split paths, instead of wasting a block on simple delay when having a parallel fx loop block
i can't find the page where you can see all the new stuff like you have..do you have a link??
sorry! found it! stupid me
Which helix are you using for this demo?
whats your audio interface?
It'd be awesome if you could try to recreate a "Heroes" tone on the Feedbacker
Just tried to do the update on my Stomp. Issues? Updated HX Edit first. However the firmware update is not recognizing the Stomp. Never had this happen before. Line 6 support states it needs a link for a new librarian software?
Get the new Line 6 Central app installed on your computer. It was released either yesterday or today.
what cabinet was used on jam and aristocrat???
I hope we get some new presets with this new devices on your catalog, updates have been a bit overdue
Hi Jon, thanks. Is there a Guthrie Govan link to the Aristocrat amp name? Perhaps a Victory Amp model?
Ever since I got a HX Stomp and Helix Native, they make it impossible to justify buying any other guitar software/hardware. The quality/value proposition can't be touched. Hardware and VST with drag and drop? No one else even does that. I just wish I did it before buying a bunch of plugins first lol.
Nice! Just got wondering after podgo update..
I will compare the feedbacker with ny FreqOut, should be some fun for sure
Hi John, I like your presets and since I mostly use the Pod Go for gigs when I can't bring my amp and board, I haven't been motivated to spend the time really dialing in my own. I was going to buy your pack, but I noticed there are a lot of new things in the most recent update this month. Do you think you'll add a lot to it with the new features so I should hold off for a bit before you get the new stuff in there?
He usually adds quite a bit with each update. It's really useful to see how he lays everything out when you're making your own presets too
But also, if you buy it now you’ll still have access to the new stuff when he releases.
@@Kuzcoco So the 5 pounds is not for a single download, it's a subscription to an evolving library?
@@AlexHandyea man
Line 6 has really gone a long way in product support, I remember buying the POD HD, that generation felt like it only lasted 6 months and very little upgrades and support. I boycotted Line 6 after that, didn't buy a helix product until last year.
60 Additional Amps, 53 additional cabinets, 194 additional effects. All added (free) post launch. Nobody can touch Line 6.
Any predictions on seeing a helix 2 or helix hd with extra dsp?
Christmas came early.
I hit like before the video sterted!
That sounds like a reverse reverb. Shoegazers rejoice
