They missed him I reckon more than he missed them. He has sung with David Bowie, on the Iggy Pop album Soldier. He played bass on Cited the Kirsty MacColl hit "A New England". @@gloria1970 To me it was sad that he left Big Country. He would have been a creative force that could have lifted the band out of heritage status.
He didn't leave Simple Minds he was sacked.
