at UW the curriculum, coursework, and other student resources for biochem majors are quite excellent as long as you have the initiative to utilize what is available. what you get out of the program really depends on how much effort you're willing to put in. that being said, I will not sugar coat, it is a very rigorous degree. the chem department will definitely challenge you to excel as for the biochem series itself, I quite enjoyed it. I knew I would enjoy biochemistry, hence I picked the major. I love case-based learning where we incorporated what we knew at the molecular level in the context of a patient
