Hi! A lot of people in the traditional BSN cohort work per diem/part-time. It’s definitely doable but only if you feel comfortable managing work/school. If you are considering the accelerated program, I highly recommend NOT working as it is very intense and fast paced. The schedule varies depending on your clinical schedule and sometimes you might have to do clinicals during the weekends. I hope this helps!
Our school of nursing has a Future Nurses Club where they know a lot more information about the proctored essay topics and resume reviews, etc. I will link their ig page and website below! Feel free to check out the resources they provide, it’s really helpful and the team is amazing :) Let me know if you have additional questions! IG: instagram.com/futurenursesatuw? Hi. Good to see you so excited about your future. I'm sure you'll do great - just got to work hard. I would like to send out a book that might support your studies, so get back to me if you"re interested. It's a bit of an anatomy workbook - might be useful , might be just interesting. I'll send it out by Amazon - take a look and tell your subscribers what you think.
Can you do a video on how to get volunteer hours or just the hours you need to apply to uw nursing.
