We go hemsby every year for the last 28 years and it hasent changed its so nice there and the club house called belle air is fantastic for bands and singers and it’s free to get in

Yeh - it's not looking good for the defence against the sea sadly.
@@GimbalWalkTV from what I’ve herd it’s the guy who owns the land saying no to the sea defences and refusing but it’s got to the point where it’s very expensive cannot believe one man can deliver deviation to such a large space

I have watched many videos about Hemsby and Happisburgh by other youtubers but they concentrate on the fact the places are falling into the sea and they always make me cry ,so it was great to see one that actually took us to see what is on offer ,it reminds me a bit of chapel st leonards hopefully that wont disappear like these , i know work is being done to try and hold back the erosion here but we cant beat nature im afraid , any way if i ate rock it would be the pineapple and mango smoothie one ,thanks for a great walk neil

We used to stay just up the coast at scratby and visited it regularly for the beach lovely seaside place

Love the video. Just a little further on towards the village centre is the old Pontins site - much history there, including the redevelopment that's been ongoing for some years after a long period of abandonment

I'm not sure. The original Chalets were being completely gutted but the building redeveloped into new lodges or something. There was a lot of press coverage but as things have gone on, I've lost touch with what is happening
I'm actually looking for a place to live over on the east coast and I've seen some pretty cheap bungalows in Hemsby. It looks a nice area but um......🤔🤔. Great video as always Neal 👍👍

Thanks very much for the vid. You say that it was filmed (very) out of season, so what month was it filmed please? I'm going there for the first time in October.
I'd say was September as the bus doesn't run in October, and we go every year in October we always have a lovely time. Quiet during the week then weekends a bit busier that's obviously before the school half term week though.

Yep. The open top bus only runs May to September, so that sounds about right.
