While the whole presentation was delightful, I think I was especially drawn to the stories told by Sir Williams-Ellis about his life and how he developed his village attraction. I have been to the Ffestiniog Railway with family members, but didn't get to see Portmerion village. Must keep it in mind if I ever go to North Wales again. Regards, Samuel Farris.

What a lovely programme! Mind you, WV-T could read the phone directory and I'd be delighted. Historically interesting too because it featured the railway before it completed the stretch between Dduallt and Blaenau as well as as one of the last TV interviews with the late and wonderful Clough Williams-Ellis. Sheer gold!

It's so awesome to see this again! It was on a VHS tape that belonged to my late great uncle.

Another very interesting TV program, some really good aerial footage. Is that that Ed Sheeran at 13:46?

@11:14 Ffestiniog signaling is a complex and interesting subject in itself. Such a great little railway. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
