Part 23 - Scorpion River Catacombs and Taylew's Ruined Forge
In this episode, we have a couple more side dungeons to explore before heading to the main path. We start with the Scorpion River Catacombs we found at the end of the last episode, and head in to deal with all the imps and crushing ceilings. In addition, this tomb has basilisks and statues that shoot out death causing eyes which are just a joy to deal with. We eventually manage to navigate to the end and defeat the death knight boss, and then head to a new ruined forge we discovered at the other end of this region. We head into Taylew's Ruined Forge, and fight our way through slimes and golems on the way to our treasure. Along the way, we find a few more smithscript weapons, including an axe, a hammer, and a shield. We struggle with a pair of golems but eventually decide to leave them and continue on to the forge. We escape with our life, and will continue the main path towards the end of this DLC, next time.
