    I have bought organic versions of both oils and mixed with my carrier oils of amla, coconut and grapeseed oils for a decade so I had no need to try Mielle's. The cost for the amount was just not worth it. I add it to my deep conditioner as well as apply directly to scalp.

      Thank you for sharing! Gurl, that Amla became to much for my hair. I had to let that go. My sister has Low porosity natural hair and works perfectly for her. Are you low porosity as well?

      If you don't mind sharing...What oils did you use?

    • @judywalker2849
      @judywalker2849 Рік тому +2

      I used grapeseed oil, rosemary herbs, peppermint oil (10 drops), jojoba, moringa and fenugreek oil. I thought it was gonna be super oily but it's very lightweight in the hair.

    Definitely going to try this! I use a black owned castor oil that I love (canvas beauty), I think I’m going to take that and add in the mint, rosemary, and maybe jojoba oil. Let us know if you see growth from your oil!!

    Never tried the Mielle oil, just seemed expensive for the quantity given. I'm going to try and make your version of the oil. Is there anything else I can use besides avocado oil?

      Grapeseed or jojoba are good and lightweight. Toya Rey has good oils too.

      I never liked the size of their products. Some of us have been natural for YEARS... no reason for 12ox conditioner bottles.

    Shea, coconut and grape seed are my favorites. I like tea tree oil vs mint/rosemary

      Thanks for sharing!! I thought about adding Tea Tree but it's one of those oils that doesn't agree with my relaxed hair. Have a great weekend @mochamommyATX!
