    • @Alex_k_Q
      @Alex_k_Q Рік тому +11

      Actually, because potatoes were imported into China back in the time, it’s called “YangYu洋芋”, “Yang洋” means foreign, literally means “foreign taro”. While potato also has a name “TuDou土豆”, literally means “beans from the earth”(potatoes used to be really small), but “土”also has a meaning of “local”. So, “TuDou土豆” stands for Chinese (local) and “YangYu洋芋” stands for foreigners😂😂

Btw,this is so interesting and informative,had no idea this part of China produces such excellent beef until now. You can tell just by looking at the deep almost black colour of that beef with the fat that it's top notch,and that chef knows just like any top steak houses worldwide that with such excellent beef no seasoning is required, just a little salt and pepper. How come the foodie world hasn't heard of this? Forget your exorbitantly priced Wagyu and Kobe beef,just get this for a fraction of the price but just as tasty!😂

    Many restaurants offering top-notch service and cuisine in China get drowned out by the crowd of establishments paying for traffic through fake reviews due to the algorithms of traditional rating apps. However, with the emergence of new apps like Xiaohongshu in recent years, there has been a counterbalance to the traditional rating software. Moreover, many locals frequent these restaurants but seldom use these rating apps. I'm glad that Amy and Xingyue stuck to your opinions and visited this exceptional restaurant!
