  • Scenario 2 in the non-mechanical SRT playlist is the same, crotched, typical tree as scenario 1, however, by eliminating the pre-tied friction hitch, and accepting the need to tie the friction hitch at the climb site, JRB can use a simpler friction hitch and simplify the rigging. This constitutes a minimum complexity system with a retrievable canopy anchor, rigged for retrieval using the paracord preset (or throwball line). Note: After publication of the video, a minor error was found in a text caption. During rappel, the caption incorrectly says "rappel on the Garda friction hitch" and should have said "rappel on the Munter Friction Hitch". Related videos:
