and basically interrogated everyone until their true emotions were shown, showed them some evidence to make them less emotional, and then called it therapy even though it isn't anything like therapy at all.
Well, what SHOULD have Athena done, then?

I’m adopted by my father, Nick. Hes super cool and i love him!! He basically saved me from my abusive parents, so i’m glad i have him now. we like to joke about Ace Attorney because i taught him about it, and he really likes it! We always watch the cases together. My mom is a lawyer, and shes super into Ace Attorney too. Aswell as my step Brother and Sister, who like to cosplay. I have a trucy outfit, or really, a magician outfit - and i like to preform shows. My family loves them, and i enjoy doing them. Honestly, i really relate to Trucy. She had a bad past But she has an amazing father. I love ace attorney, it brought my foster family and i together!

I know a lot of people are calling it cursed, but for what it is, it kinda demonstrates that Trucy's perception of what "love" is has been extremely damaged by her upbringing. She's probably bringing up marriage because, in her limited social vocabulary, that's the only way she can express that she wants to be loved and protected indefinitely.
