Hungarian language doesn't share similar words with other languages we know, and it's also a tonal language, that's why it's really hard to learn.

I know this wasn’t intentional, but pay attention to the acute, it is supposed to be on the u. The way you wrote it translates to “the girl with the fat of pearls” instead of “the girl with the hair of pearls” and it really cracks me up

Very good translation!! It's amazing you did the translation better than some Hungarians out there. You did the literal ) or I don't know how to call it, but word by word ) translation, which it's really good!! It's easier to understand your translation as a foreigner. Thank you very much for doing this... since you are not Hungarian.. it's amazing!!! About editing, I don't know what to say... perfect as always. In rest good luck with your studies, it's nice to hear that some people are interested in this language :)

I think they later added the -kä in Mikä,
because in some other words you can notice it's a later addition.
    - Min-kä, Mit-kä, pit-kä (pit(e)-, pidempi, pisin uusi, uut(e)-, uudempi, uusin), ...

Wow, that was a really great idea to make and I love the edititng too. (Yes, I love the border ;) )
And well, hats off, that you could traslate Hungarian to English and Finnish. You mentioned that you didn't find Hungarian S+T, but there are several ones, here is the best one: ua-cam.com/video/p2bQX-MjX_U/v-deo.html . But! As I see, you didn't need it. You even managed to translate the "Olyan lelket mozdító" part to "The kind that moves the soul", which is a really accurate translation, but for example me, as a Hungarian, never managed to translate that part correctly. But now I know how to say that part in English, haha, so thanks and well done! :D
Also it was interesting to see some old Finno-Ugric words to be highlightened, maybe there aren't exactly the same, but they are quite similar to each other. :)
Good luck for your studies, you are really skilled in learning languages and I bet you will be able to speak fluently the Hungarian language soon. ;)

Very cool video! I think that you forgot to highlight the hungarian and finnish words for "to know" and its forms, because they are also kognates :)

_Tuntea_ is but not _tietää_ . Finnish has two words for "to know" and they both mean a little different things.

@@jabbalone2068 _Tietää_ comes from the word _tie_ which means road in Finnish (as in "I know the way"). _Tietää_ is used for more superficial knowledge whereas _tuntea_ is for deeper personal knowledge (mostly used with people). _Tuntea_ and _tud_ are related.
