Hey artists and fellow friends! About Face is one of my favorite makeup brands, so I'll be sharing my editorial makeup I created. We're trying out the new About Face vinyl effect eye gloss, and the new 1994 Mascara. It's a shorter review and demo, but I'm trying out the idea of shorter videos outside of the usual. You get the point. I think you'll be interested in finding out what I learned about these two new products! Afternoon Sweet Jane x Brilliant seeing u have fun with your makeup and I love the whole monochromatic look, especially your blush ombre draping x The gloss looks fab on u.....on me it would defo crease and my hair and Bella's hairs (hairy, always moulting,chihuahua) would b forever getting glued to it and it would all drive me mad lol x
Mascara, same as u Jane, very picky.....the most problem I have is transfer of the lower lashes onto my under eyes.....haven't tried one yet that i have had to touch up through the day. Its cause my lashes r long, defo not a problem, i feel blessed...as u said u do too. Also most mascaras skip a few lashes, always in the same places, the exact same lashes every time! what's that about! lol x
So I purchased yesterday a mascara for £18 (£15 and £3 postage).....it was on offer and is normally £29! Even the 18 pounds is out of my price range but another creator recommended it, I trust her and she also has lovely long lashes like us.
I will let u know how I get on with it Jane. If u want to research it its "Rodial Glamolash XXL Waterproof Black" ......I had never heard of Rodial, they do skin care as well as makeup.

You look so good! I’ve never used an eye gloss but it looks really cool. Would an eye gloss move around glitter if you were to try it over a more glittery formula? Or is this meant to be used over more matte looks?

I tried it over the About Face fractal glitter eye paint and it didn’t move around, but that formula is made to dry down and last. I’m not sure about more loose glitter because I really try to keep the loose glitters off of my eye. I do own a few, so I’ll try it. I’m going to create an Instagram reel with these, so follow me over there and watch for it this week.
