to be clear, I love this channel and am so impressed for your dedication, skill set and hard work. that being said, anyone else have like a million tiny heart attacks when this man is doing work?? I'm like "OMG, don't fall through the beam floor! and "OMG, don't fall off the roof!" No? Just me then.??? :). Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us.

No. As someone who works in the design/construction world there are a lot of inherent dangers from falls, incorrect use of tools etc. Brady is extremely skilled and aware of the dangers. Restoring your own property is not for the completely inexperienced nor the faint at heart.
I particularly love how the whole family is involved and the girls learn how to use tools and perform tasks most kids their ages don't get to touch. It is so healthy for critical thinking, problem solving and spatial/body awareness. Most of our younger generations are sadly, so lacking in what used to be a common skill set.

LOL! I just watched the next video where Brady falls off the stairs and then Burns himself while charring the beams. The timing could not have been more perfect; I had to come back here and make fun of myself.

Not an unreasonable thought! Ditto here. One of the most important things to remember is to be aware of your level of energy and fatigue. I’ve been a historic preservationist for over 40 years and there really are some days when you definitely DO NOT want to be walking up high on beams, roofs or even operating power tools! There were many times when I would take a day to rest up, especially after an intense period of work in the heat. Be sure to eat and hydrate as necessary!

I've never seen a modern man that will do things from scratch to an awesome piece of work. You are an inspiration to young men out there. The way you care about your family. The way you think is awesome, to make your daughters happy. You remind me of my father.
You are a wonderful father for letting your daughters help you and introduce things to them. They will remember these for the rest of their life. You are molding good and strong women. God be with you always.
    Happy Father's Day. ☺️🙏
I hope you upload more videos cause they are inspiring and can't stop watching them.

You can check out the methods that people use to build highway walls. The engineers use metal nest to cover the hold slope. They always build stems or columns to fix the nest. Please check are those can be apply or not. Because you must build it to protect you life rather than other things. It's a amazing project. I want to see you and your family have a great life in the future.

We have built several homes over the years and so that was one thing I was wondering about: how difficult it was going to be to repair that slate roof. You are so impressive in your dedication to seemingly monotonous tasks..we see things happen in a matter of seconds but I know it took you a lot longer to get there. The scenery is breathtaking. Its obvious what pulled you into this region.

Beautiful family. Found your channel watching Martin Dooliard. Mine and my daughters' dream to do what you're doing. Thank you for sharing your journey.
