If you can wear nylon or latex gloves when opening the case and touching the batteries- it would be a good idea. It prevents moisture entering the case.
@@TheAbdi1910 Check the button plates, the watch movement may have shifted and this may be the problem. It is best to go to a watchmaker, because there is a danger of destroying the board or the mechanics of the movement.
Sony SR927W was the factory supplied batteries. They replaced it with the SR927SW or 395/399 or SR57 labelled Silver Oxide (Mercury free) button batteries.
