Great work. What hooklink/hook combo do you use? I had a big trouble on my last Trent trip using korum penatrator and 10lb flurocarbon. I came to the conclusion that the penetrator hook pattern is kind of inturned and put pressure on the line at the eye - kept snapping off exactly st the hook eye. I concluded to use braid with that hook pattern and use a straighter shank and even outturned eye for fluro… What are your thoughts? Be appreciated!
@@specimenanglers3638 Magic, got nothing near that in the bag, probs 6oz the biggest, might need to grab some before I head down. Never fished a river like the trent before.
@@sjmclean0 u will be able to hold with 6oz in certain pegs in the slacks mate. Foxy leads at Newark I would recommend for feeders and leads but he’s out the country at the minute mate.

Great catch but I fail to understand why anglers publicise their catches, spoiling there own angling and others.
