Supposed to be some more rain Wednesday Lee it's a case of just catching it right going to try again on tidal but last few times it's been the mitten crabs the problem. But nice to see a few coming out down there

@@sjmclean0 u will be able to hold with 6oz in certain pegs in the slacks mate. Foxy leads at Newark I would recommend for feeders and leads but he’s out the country at the minute mate.

@specimenanglers3638 What oz would you recommend a little further up, I was fishing the stretch opposite the fork midweek and I wasn’t holding with 5oz! Great session, thanks well done! Also does A1 own the stretch further north as you go under the bridge, or is it just up-to?

Yes mate feeders far side. That day I think it was 8oz feeders but today’s level u will get away with 5oz far bank. Foxy leads mate for all your feeders and leads mate.

@@specimenanglers3638 Ah cracking, I'll give them a look. New subscriber so only seen a couple. Took my nephew down to the pits stretch last week for an overnighter but had no luck. It was busy though so ended up right at the bottom of the stretch, I'm guessing the best fishing is at the start of it rather than the end!
