    Hi, gentleman. Loved your video.
    Would it be possible to use short fragments of it in a music video?? I'd gladly credit you for it in my channel.
    Thank you again for your nice video.

    Joshua Tree is a long way from New England. I don't know your circumstances, it's unfortunate you only had a day to explore. It's beautiful there, so different than NE, ATB

      Yessir, very different from New England. I went out to SoCal for a work conference but I left New England a couple days early. One day was spent hiking San Gorgonio Mountain and then the other was in Joshua Tree. I did all I could but I wish I had more time!

    Sir, your video is very good. But your video is not SEO (Search Engine Optimization). So your video views are less.

    That was a good day Seth loved the hike up Ryan Mountain ⛰️ the views of that chaparral (stunning)
    Your definitely not wrong it really looks like a film set to me too 👍🤠(expecting the Duke to ride on through 🤠)
    Have a great Christmas 🎄
    Best regards Simon

      Thanks Simon - it was a wild place to explore. Definitely very different from any other place I've been. Happy Christmas to you and yours!

    This place is just like a film set! You're absolutely right it doesn't look real. Tuna chunks on pita bread, doesn't get more gourmet. I really like the Cholla Catus Garden, what a great spot to round off your 24 hour whirlwind tour, impressive what you got to see in a day. And then just when you thought it was all over, a stunning pink sky and a mountain lion!

      Thanks! Really happy I had the day to check it out. Western US is a wild place.

    Wow! Amazing landscape - I love the different textures and warm colors. It’s crazy how many rough, sharp and prickly things you have to watch out for. Def makes for an interesting place to explore! It seemed the weather started perfect in the morning but got pretty hot during midday? Loved the close ups of the different cacti and desert beetle. Thanks for the video!

      Temp topped out just below 70 but it felt much hotter with that desert sun. I definitely needed that shade at lunchtime. But with little in the way of amenities you had to find shade where you could.

    Great video! I've been to Joshua Tree a few times, such a beautiful and very accessible park! Nice taking the Corona bottle out of there.

    What were those rocks? Petrified biology of some kind.

    • @RhodySeth
      @RhodySeth  9 місяців тому

      The rocks there are something else? Created millions of years ago and brought to the surface via erosion - nature never fails to impress!

    Nice Seth! The camera footage is crystal clear. What camera are you using these days? Still Hero 10?

    • @RhodySeth
      @RhodySeth  9 місяців тому +1

      I traded in the Hero 10 for a Hero 11 last year after the screen cracked. But I got a new iPhone 14 Pro which accounts for probably 60-70% of the footage in this and the last couple videos. It has that portrait mode with the blurry background and takes much better distance/close-ups than the GoPro. It is a pain in the ass though because I have to do a bunch of shit before I can edit with the files (Otherwise the footage is all washed out and the frame rate can be choppy). The GoPro is primarily now for static shots with the tripod or anything when I'm moving. I'm glad you noticed!

    • @jaytheurbanviking
      @jaytheurbanviking 9 місяців тому

      @RhodySeth oh ya man sweet. I have the Galaxy S23 and the video it takes is spectacular. I have the Hero 10 as well. I may have to rethink what I record with. Hmmmmm.

      @@RhodySeth I have the iPhone 12 and have have similar issues with the colors from the iPhone compared to the GoPro. It might be from the HDR settings, try turning off SMART HDR in the settings under camera. What do you use for editing?

    • @RhodySeth
      @RhodySeth  9 місяців тому +1

      @@OutdoorsWithJohnUSA Premiere Pro. I found a step I need to do in PP before I edit the iPhone footage. I'll check that setting on the phone.
