@@vkstudiosv-stickusbset8991 Hi, I have read MANY places that only alesis HH pedals work with the Multipad. Is that only one the case when playing the internal sounds? Does the pedal send variable midi signal to the VST so you can get chick, closed, 1/3 open, 2/3 open, full open etc. in the VST?
Great Demo man, I realy like your style! Clean and freakin' tight! Can you use a hihat and kickdrum pedal, if yes, what do you recommend? And can you play vsti's with it, like Superior Drummer 3? Thanks in advance for your anwers! Keep the music alive bro!
I have the Strike Multipad, and this looks and sounds like you are triggering external samples, and not using internal samples. Correct? Because the level of dynamics you are achieving is not possible with internal samples, as far as I know.
panurge987. These sounds are possible internally. However, it will take some time to find which sample suits you best. The dynamics are also achievable internally. Using the Curve Exp1 or 2 works best for creating a greater dynamic change.
Did you import the drum sampled sounds you are using here or are they in the factory sound library of the unit? If they are in the unit, what sounds are they? They sound great which is why I am asking and have found some really good factory sounds in the unit but not these.
Great demo! Is the Roland FD8 hihat pedal working well with the Strike Multipad? I use both internal and vst libraries, and would like to buy one to control. Thank you
Do you know of any beat pad that you can do this with, without the foot pedal? I want to program a bass drum on the beat pad. Not use it with a pedal. I just can’t get my foot to do something different. So if I can get everything including the kick drum up too together that would be awesome. Thanks for any advice you can give.
Just about any foot pedal that's made for electronic drums will work on the ALESIS STRIKE MULTIPAD! But I would suggest getting a good one that is similar to one that is used on acoustic drums but made for e-drums! They are a lot more realistic! You have A LOT more control, therefore it/you will sound a lot better! Just try not to use those cheap little 4 inch square, black pedals that you have to stomp on!!! Amazon has some half way decent pedals for e-drums or just about any place that sells electronic drums will have everything you need!!!
I know you are using plugins. But are those sample sound are internal or from different software. Because the alesis has more of 7000 thousands. I was just wondering. Thank you.
Hi, i have the same pad and i can't set up the sensitive as low as yours. I have threshold to 1 in every pad and i have to hit hard to get triggered. How do you configure it? I can't do low dynamics as press roll.
Hello do you know how to use the alesis multi-strike PAD as a controller and with easy drummer or any midi drummer program and are able to set up the high hat so that it acts like a real high hat. I cannot configure one pad to make two sounds the open and closed hi-hat with the foot switch of the alesis. So basically I would just like to have the MIDI controller hi-hat with easy drummer to act like an actual high hat opening and closing per one pad example is what you're doing in your video.
Damn... finally someone that knows how to demo that unit.. great playing brother...
Came for the product, stayed for your playing lol
Same hahaha
Sameeee
Wow what a brilliant drummer 😍😍🤩🤩🤩👍👍👍👍👍
I'm very surprised that this kind of realism and playing is possible on a drumpad
This is the best demo with the best sound
thank you very much
Κώστα μου σε ευχαριστώ. Άψογη συνεργασία και έντιμη δουλειά, να σαι καλά! Φιλιά από την ωραία Κύπρο 😉

Great sound! Can I ask if you are using superior drummer VST? I really want to achieve that snare sound along with the toms. Thanks!

Might have to consider switching from my Roland SPD SX. Probably not though! Any others out there considering?
Great demo. Have you used the SPD-SX? If yes, how would you compare the practicality of this vs the Roland in live show scenarios?
I've had it for a very short time. But I think for my job it's better to alesis..
