@@CashGravel No. If a plan calls for a 4" slab we use 2x4s which net 3 1/2". If the plan calls for 6" we use 2 x 6s which net 5 1/2". The subgrade is the most important part of getting your slab depth correct. We use laser levels to get our grades set.
But if you’re framing with modern two by fours, they’re only 3 1/2 inches. Do you guys have a different set of forms you use?
