Torch is an iconic Dreadnok and a necessity in my collection. This looks good, with a few minor issues I can remedy myself. Number one is those glasses which will be painted with a better tint.
I was looking forward to this figure. Frank Welker imbued the character with his usual magnificence. My favorite line that sticks with me to this day was from G.I. Joe The Movie, where he's instructing the Cobra grunts, and burns a false building Construct and says, "burn the foundation, and the rest comes TUMBLING DOWN!" This is the best drednock!
Can't wait to complete the original trio. I'm also excited to see what they do with the other dreadnoks
Absolutely nobody should be upset about the glasses. There was so many content creators complaining about the others glasses falling off and possibly losing them, or not fitting flush or correct. And I didn't see any push back from anybody saying they like the glasses being removable. For the most part people just want these things to be made just like the 80s. But now I'm sure when these things become widely available we're going to hear people complaining, but we shouldn't. 🤔

I like glasses being removable. I like the options and I'm not a child who loses accessories for silly reasons. I also prefer translucency where it makes sense (though not here). Buzzer has the worst fitting glasses but just like all of them, a little heat and pressure goes a long way to making a snug fit. If all else fails, a grain of sticky tack works too. Thinking content creators aren't an echo chamber of little complaints is ignorance. I may be the minority but I can handle a little fuss from time to time if it means better display options.

I coveted my best friends neighbors GI Joe collection. It was epic, more 80's then. I got the General for Christmas and it was amazing
Torch looks great and yes a must have in my colection very close to the 3 inch figure and looks alittle more detailed than the other two
Those flame effects look pretty nice. I kind of wish they gave him the trench knife instead of the extra sidearm.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but I found that the fire effect will work on the Hiss tanks nose cannons or main. Kinda cool blow torch on the front of the Hiss. I didn’t force them in as it is tight fit.

Mine just came today. I wish the wrist pivots were opposing so you can pose the thrower without bending it, but the plastic is super soft, so I guess it doesnt matter.
You said "so anyway " at least 4 times before finally getting to the figure lol. So anyway, cant wait to get this next wave of Joes

Great looking figure. I just wish they had given him the proper torch. He didn't have a flame thrower. He had an oxy-acetylene torch for cutting metal and such like the other dreadnoks Buzzer a diamond toothed chainsaw and Ripper Jaws of life they were a wrecking crew

Originally he was supposed to have the drednoks patch on the back of his leather jacket but Hasbro pulse canceled that idea for whatever reasons😅

Nice review punk. I got mine sitting in my pile of loot because I only buy the collector grade from BBBTS so I’ll leave it sitting there since I’m not gonna open it up anyway but figure looks awesome. That sucks about the flame effects and the bat WTF.

@@Apunkwithtoys yeah I keep two in the box of each figure and I open at least one of each figure. If I figure has three heads scopes, then I have three of that figure open and displayed. I’m kind of sick with it lol

a cheap hobby grade pin drill should fix the bats right up. I'm going to use my extra flam effect on barbeque though. I always thought it was a flame thrower in the 80s and I'm still going to use it now. It may be a war crime now but there's nothing more effective at clearing out an entrenched position then a flame thrower...maybe Barbeque just sees all cobra troopers as BATS?😂😂😂😂

If there is enough thickness on the BAT flame nozzle, that's exactly what I intend to do.

This is great!!! People who complain about it not being true to the original just wait until the retro drops. But other than that I'm excited for this one. Just happy we are getting the dreads. Maybe the next vehicle will be some dread vehicles or maybe the Thunder for a haslab

I agree with the spelling issue. I get that they teased that Torch is illiterate, but I will argue that we have seen too many spelling issues or quality issues that a step feels like it's being skipped somewhere
