I really enjoyed your reviews. They are intelligent, well thought out and presented professionally. I also love the fact that ALL the products you present are REAL Fjällräven Kånken products. I have seen so many videos (unboxing and reviews), that are clearly knockoffs and the reviewer has no clue. I have purchased two Fjällräven #2 bags after watching your reviews. I purchased the Kånken #2 15” laptop bag and the #2 mini. Both of my bags were purchased from an authorized Fjallraven reseller to ensure I got the real Fjallraven quality products that I was paying good money for. I am debating if I should get the mini as a purse or the big one as a school bag, any suggestions of what I should get?
I’m using my mini as a purse for the Fall season. I LOVE it!!!! I also added the padded back straps to my mini to increase its comfort.
This video is over 2 years old but you were the only one who showed me how to change the straps in a backpack thank you!!

I have the mini. It's blinking fantastic! I love bags, including a number of designer ones for everyday use, however this is by far the most used bag in my collection.

ive had my kanken for almost 3 years now (13 inch) The only tiff i have is that because of the shade (its lavender) you can see that its dirty. But apart from that its still going strong and I love it. I recently brought a new one in the color "dusk" for when I start uni. But yeah overall kankens have amazing quality and I cant wait to continue using my dusk and lavender bags for years too come!
I just got my Fjällräven Kånken mini backpack (purchased at Amazon) a few days ago. It is the perfect size for my needs and holds my notebook, pens, wallet, phone, hair brush and flat A6 water bottle. I, too, love the fabric. I plan on a trip to Morocco and it will be the perfect day pack. It will fit nicely in my larger underseat backpack storing all of my snacks for the flights. Thank you for your review (viewed after I purchased!).

I have a big kanken and I recently purchased the weekender because I needed more space, and you’re right after five years my big kanken is in amazing shape with some very small tears at the bottom from being exposed to the rough floor,
But other than that, amazing shape and quality..
So I think I might buy the mini as a toiletry bag
Lengthening the straps to make it adult-ready was definitely a gruelling experience, i thought i was hacking the backpack until i came to this video which explained that was actually what was supposed to be done
AND I have one of their jackets which i love AND I noticed them on the popular TV SCI-FI Program "The Rain" and thought they were cool. That's how I found out about them since I don't hang out with trendy people!

Water resistance it is, but not dirt resistant I have one, but the dirt will come off. But if you get a light color one it dirt will come off but some won’t buy other then that it is a good bag I guess

I am looking for a backpack for school and I really wanted one of these backpacks but the big ones are kind of expensive so I thought maybe I could get a smaller one. So could someone tell how much you can fit in a mini one and if it would be practical for school.
I do have the mini backpack. I stated out with the Forest Green that I picked up from a local general store. Then got the royal purple at REI in 2023 for 30% off. I didn’t need another one but for 30%, yes indeed I did. I put my keys in one outside pocket, my Motorola phone with a case in the other side pocket. I have a wallet, two of the Fjallraven pouches inside, a small notebook with room to spare. I keep my AirPods and my chapstick in the front pocket. I was a LugNut for years. Lug is a brand of luggage/bags, but finally bought me a Fjallraven and donated my Lug purses. This one is here to stay. I also do have the 15 inch laptop bag and another classic that I got at B&N at 50%. I couldn’t say no to 50% off. I said, yes, that is coming with me. ❤

I think you should pick the big one … AND SAVE UP FOR THE MINI ONE!
Okay, for real, I have the Ochre one size “classic” for more than a year, and I love it! It fits SO many of my school stuff (laptop, tons of notebooks, pencil cases, etc) yet they’re still some room left!
I kinda use everywhere I go, too, and I feel stylish wearing it (cuz I added pins) I didn’t regret buying it! even though it’s expensive)
So, I would prioritize getting a backpack for school more!

These bags hold up pretty well. I have the Sling version (thinking of buying this version too), and that Sling has been through the wars, I’ve thrown it around and was not gentle with it AT ALL.. and well it still looks brand new.
Though her bag does still have the tag on it.. so maybe she just has multiple of the same bag? 🤷🏼♀️
Either way, Fjallraven Kanken bags are really good quality and worth the price in my opinion. I’ve paid more for other bags and they never lasted long
