February The independent garages I worked at can manually input a VIN, but dealer systems are different. Not sure about Nissan, but some are tied into the manufacturer. We had a customer from Germany try to trade in a car he imported and we wouldn't allow it because we couldn't get the VIN to come up.

Mrguy Cops aren't paid 20$ everywhere, in fact that is hardly the case... Police salary varies county to county. In my county average pay for an officer is about 60k a year with detectives making about 75k a year.
Funny thing. If minimum wage is paid $15/hour, everyone else's wages go up as well. Otherwise, employees wouldn't stay in those jobs when they could get comparable pay at McDonald's.

The one thing that is definitely the scariest is when I let friends drive the car and they start wandering into the next lane because they automatically want to put themselves on the left side of the lane. They all do it and theres almost been a few accidents because of it.

I'm on my second RHD car in a LHD country! With the first one I drove over 120k miles for 11 years, and I'm 35 so technically I have much more experience in RHD and I feel better in RHD. Drive-bys are really a problem, but I mostly drive with my family so there is always someone on the left side :) For overtaking I have periscope mirrors on the left side of the windshield, so I can see if a car is coming the other way without peeping.
Its very manageable to daily RHD car, and much more comfortable in busy city because of parking and getting out on the sideways :)
LHD car in RHD country: Bahamas. Most LHD cars came from Belize, Latin America, USA, South Korea and RHD cars are mostly from Japan.

@@firecontent6841 Me personally: Its cheaper(more than double) Also The car was in very good contidion, with service history and good maintance record for 1500Euros. All LHD ones from the same model and year was without any service hisory, much more worn out and cost about 4-5000euros. For me its worth the hassle.

I recently imported my mint 1990 Nissan 300ZX TT from Japan myself and I can attest that everything he said on this video is 100% correct. One late night, I was hungry and McDonald's was on my way home but I didn't want to go switch cars and then come back, so I did the reverse drive thru thing too. I will admit, I was a little nervous about not touching the curve.

I own a 1991 Toyota soarer I imported to Florida, and I find driving on the right hand side easy as hell, plus shifting is alot better. The only issues i get are the wipers/ turning signal, and here in miami burger kings and etc dont sell me food cause they think im joking, checkers is the real MVP.
Driving in the UK I was never aware of this issue because European cars don't reverse wipers/turn signals

Honestly, having to shift with my left hand instead of my right was the easiest change to get used to. I had only driven stick for a year before I bought a RHD MR2, and using my left hand to shift turned out to be second nature.
The signal being on the other side takes a bit of getting used to. Thinking of the signal always being next to the door helps.
Turning left at an intersection with a car blocking your view is probably the worst part of it. You just have to be patient and either wait for the light to turn red or wait until no cars are blocking your view.

How's overtaking in the oncoming lane during highway driving in mountain or large hill areas?
DZEMAG If the vehicle ahead is bigger and you can't see past it, you have to dart out into the oncoming lane really quick to see if anything is coming, which isn't a very good idea and could end very badly.

If you are I a 2 lane road and you want to overtake you cannot creep out to check if there is any on coming traffic if you are sat on the right and driving in the right lane. Going in reverse through a drive-through in a RHD car - just classic and a genius maneuver. I definitely didn't see that one coming. Talk about backing that thang-up.
In regards to the turn signals, most cars have them on the left regardless of what side the steering wheel is on. The Japanese just had a weird moment in the 90s when they put them on the right. Actually better once you get used to it I think.

Graham Arnold There would be no reason to put on the hazards. Hazards are for when you're on the side of the road and you need to alert fast moving vehicles. Unless you're going 60 in a drive through, you don't need hazards. And at that point, the person going 60 in a drive through is the hazard.

Yeah, we rented a Kia Cee'd diesel manual in England, last year. The shifting was no problem at all, but the big thing I had problems for a day or 2 was the spacial awareness of how much of the car is on my right vs. left. I only got in on the wrong side twice in the week and a half we had it.

Watching your various videos, I'm surprised about what a big deal you made out of RHD. going left around cars to get into the fast lane is uh, pretty similar to going around a car into the slow lane in a LHD car. We've all had to drive on one-way streets making different turns than normal and it doesn't really catch us out. Anyway, I bet you wish you lived here in San Diego when you had this (if you're a fan of Rally's)

I live in the UK and we drive RHD but I've owned LHD cars no problem. Plus the indicators on the right isn't a RHD thing it's a an Japanese thing. RIGHT HAND DRIVE IS THE CORRECT SIDE, makes more sense no?, you change gear with your left (non-dominant hand), whilst more importantly controlling your car with the right (dominant) hand. This is the case for most people.

just because you prefer right hand drive doesn't mean the world does because for a fact, they prefer left.
My dad taught me how to drive in a LHD manual and I quickly learned the shifting. Then we moved to another country, and I started driving a RHD manual and had to shift gears with my left hand. I drove it for 2 months and I still misshift all the time, mind you, I only drove the LHD car for a week and barely made a mistake. Now I have an automatic and honestly, I'm glad I do. I still enjoy shifting on my motorcycle but now shifting in a LHD car is tiresome for me.

The car would of probably have come in left hand drive models if for some reason they hadnt been illegal at the time. No one seems to care if you buy a supra in either left or right hand drive. So why should ir Matter for a skyline? So long as the Americans don't swap in some v8 in there (Murica) as long as the base power plant remains untouched then no sacrilegious lines have been crossed. After all what makes the r32 the as so great is its its amazing power plant. Its superb handling. Not what side the steering rack is on. And I'm sorry if I seem to be rambling. Left Hand Drive converted R32, R33 and R34 are popular in certain Gulf states thanks to some registration laws that prevents RHD cars from getting registered. I have seen some RHD cars such as a Del Sol, an S15 Silvia, some R34 and R32's before but most of Skylines i have seen are converted to LHD. I heard some people saying that it ruins the car in certain ways.
I drive a RHD imported ae86 and you've forgotten one thing. passing on a 2 lane road. it is impossible to see around the car in front of you to know whether or not you are clear to pass without having to either ride the like off the road or poke into the left lane. I still to this day have not gone through a drive through in my car alot but am not considering trying it backwards. very fun. good video.

ive driven a friends rhd car here stateside, its fun for parallel parking. or its also fun riding in passengers seat, past a cop acting like your sleeping. the looks are priceless
