The writers know exactly what they're doing. Their taunting us with all these Romantic SuperCorp scenes and having us think that they're about to finally kiss, or have them finally tell each other they are secretly in love with each other, only to have them get really close to each other and not have any of it happen. They we're never gonna let them end up together. Now Supergirl is over and we're all left miserable. I love the show but the writers could've done a better job with the pairing. They kept giving us small subtle hints that they might be gay only for it to not happen. We all know Kara and Lena are gay for each other. Best friends don't exchange glances like that. Best friends don't watch the other walk away with a secret crush type of look and a blushed face. Best friends don't bring a whole bouquet of flowers for each other like that. It irks me to my very soul that they did all that only to leave us with questions and answers and to leave us with only fanfiction and theories to figure it all out. If I had a million dollars right now, and I was a director, I'd make Supercorp happen. In fact, I'm a freelance writer so I'm going to write a complete fanfiction on SuperCorp from how they met, to how they will end up together.
